I would to say. This saw is monster! I’ve only cut load of pecan. Cuts like a champ! Eat through the wood like it was butter.Easy assembly with tool that’s provided. Super fast shipping.     • Wished I had not purchased. Bar loosening w/ chain walking off bar during use. Unsafe
Purchased this chainsaw (450 Rancher) as a replacement for my 20+ yr old Husqvarna 359 which in hindsight before purchasing this one and tossing the other, I wish I had purchased a cylinder replacement kit and rebuilt the 359. Biggest issue I have had is bearing witness to the bar loosening and the chain walking off the bar (TWICE). Biggest thing I notice now is this 450 Rancher comes with only one bolt to clamp the bar after adjusting chain tension. Using it first time to fell three trees with having the chain walk off the bar. There is a safety component on the chainsaw to stop the chain when this happens at the expense of the chain. Purchased a second chain (now $ 30 more to the $ 450+ purchase) to find after tightening "really really hard" the bolt, chain walked off the bar again...., another destroyed chain. Cannot understand what the cost savings it is to eliminate a second clamping bolt on this chainsaw vs the older 359...?? I do not feel safe running this chainsaw. I have contacted Amazon...., no help. I get it.., they cannot ship an item with or which has had fuel in it. Referral to Husqvarna Contacted them to be sent in circles to go contact a local store/ service center. I did not purchase from local dealer, I purchased from Amazon. Why can't I get an answer from USA Corp Husqvarna? Why if the answer is "no" then why the pass off to walk into a local dealer where I did not purchase this from to look at me like an idiot to say "no". Why the circles? I get it loud and clear.., "sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience ....., you are now the owner of the that Rancher 450 YOU purchased ...., you own it.Good luck with that.., have a great day..." NEXT....! Shame..., I can only guess, unless you are cutting up 3 inch diameter branches..., do not buy this chainsaw. In hindsight I should have sprung for a different model and not the hype written up in the description of this model as written on website. I would swap this chainsaw out for another with two clamping bolts for the bar in a heart beat if there were support to do so That.., or research another brand. Totally bummed To be clear.., I am not a professional arborist..., I am a home owner that just thought was purchasing what I had come to know was a safe designed quality built product for felling trees in a non commercial manner. ....., what comes to your mind when you read a name such as "Rancher" in the description...??! Not even close to what you would be purchasing Pass....! ... show more

I've always been a Stihl guy, but this saw changed all that! Got a good price on it, it came with a box and sheath. Easy enough to put the bar and chain on. This thing cuts and runs like a dream! I have never had a saw run so well or cut so well it definitely made me a believer in Husqvarna!
