A very good quality item I used to trim mainly Mesquites and few other Even when I was rusted for not being using a chainsaw in so long It was a quick learning curve due to the simplicity and soon got a good handle of the saw...which once running it keeps going and going with a lot of power to go I was a little skeptic at the begging but once cutting wood got started those doubts were left behind I hope to last long But my guess is worth the investment For sure recommend it ... show more

Received saw in a Husky factory box, very well packaged. Looks practically new. Iโ€™m not sure if it was โ€œreconditioned โ€œ by the manufacturer or other. Likewise no knowledge of prior malfunction/ customer dissatisfaction. Started relatively easy. Takes some patience getting fuel flow started with 2strokes that havent run in a while. Idles nicely, runs and cuts very well at power. Engine is obviously properly tuned. Use a 40:1 ratio, high octane gas, no ethanol if possible, quality 2 stroke oil. Chain bar is single bolt vice two, time will tell how that works out. I rate this as a really good value. Quality may vary from other โ€œrepairโ€ outfits. Iโ€™m quite satisfied. Only have a couple hours on it to date. ... show more

I like this saw it was refurbished so it did have some dings and dents in it but overall it cuts well starts ok and is extremely lightweight.

Carb was clogged and needed to be adjusted. Other than that works like a champ!

    • False representation about Warrenty
Purchased renewed saw which according to the listing has a 90 day warranty. After using 1 hr the saw froze. Figured out it was probably the chain brake and it would not release. Tried to remove the cover but it was also jammed. Concerned about breaking the cover checked into warranty service. Company said it was only a 30 day warranty but I was within that window. They said to contact local authorized area Hasqavrna dealers for repair. Problem none of the local shops, within 50 miles, will do warranty service for stuff stuff bought on line. Was finally able to fix it myself after a couple of hours and YouTube guidance but their warranty is worthless. Saw may perform well but just forget about their advertised warranty. ... show more

Took literally 3 pulls out of the box (after assembled). Ran thru a large log to test it. No issues. People will complain about everything, its a great saw for the price.
