Man i was so happy to get this new item, as every other item i have acquired, for me and my sons land scaping business, we found tools broken and I showed him how to fix them- 2 mowers, 2 weed eaters, 2 back pack blowers, edger. BUT then we bought this BRAND NEW HEDGE TRIMMER... Can y'all guess which item i am having the most trouble with... makes me feel better that i can fix a gas powered Stihl, Eche, Lawn Boy, etc better than Husqa can make them new... come on guys... then Amazon gives support that has no help on gas powered items... First thing me and my son invest in with company funds, it worked once - One Time. Then it stopped. I wish i could share the picture of the little mini bushes... they came out great!

I got this to use as a scythe for around my pool and fence area. I have found that this works pretty well for that. Maybe not the best tool for the job, but it works well overall. The engine is the same as what was on a 122RJ I had that I recently sold to my friend who needed a trimmer and it required the same thing that one did. I waited to write my review until I had it fully broken in after a couple hours of use and it has gotten better over that time. It initially worked just like the 122RJ did at first where it just didn't want to rev very well. However, after my experience with the 122RJ, I let this one run for a bit to seat things properly and over about an hour of total run time, the engine settled in and now revs as I would expect. So far, I am not having issues like others have had with it. It is working fine and I haven't had any issues starting it or running it after breaking it in. For reference, I use nothing but 92 octane premium no-ox fuel combined with Amsoil Saber run at 50:1 and run this in everything I have that is two stroke except my new Stihl FS70R, which requires the Stihl HP Ultra oil to be run to double the manufacturer's warranty on it. I know that Husqvarna stuff is kinda hit and miss on these units made in China. But so far, I have gotten lucky twice with them between this and my 122RJ. I find this to be easy to start, easy to use and I really like that I can adapt it to fit several different attachments that are available. I find on a tank of fuel, I can run this straight maybe an hour and a half at most, about 45 minutes straight if I am really heavy on the gas. I spray the head blades down with WD40 every time I use it and so far, haven't had any issues with the hedge trimmer blades binding up. I plan on getting the trimmer head attachment for it at some point, but I have several dedicated trimmers I can use at my disposal already, so that might be further off down the line. For the price, I think this is a pretty nice unit that works pretty well. But expect some teething issues when first starting it. It takes some some to get the engine worn in to get it where it is easier to use.

After one tank of fuel unit stop running can not prime the carburetor from primer push button. Same thing happened to me just installed new replacement carburetor. 🤬

Really well built tool that I don't have to wait to charge up, and seems very versatile once you pick up a few attachments. No battery to deal with, decently heavy weight but well balanced for cutting, and has a comfortable handle (if you've used a weed eater this is about the same thing). Easy to adjust the angle on too for ease of use. Works well and much better than my last hedge trimmer, plus I now have the ability to cut a little further away. Not great for up close trimming, so don't get rid of your old one just yet, but super nice for trimming under larger hedges or shaping the sides on the taller ones. Will be looking up the pole saw and edger attachments to add to the collection, but for keeping things looking cleaned up this is pretty solid. I even like the color.
