Works very well! After I got home from work I set it up and did around the house ran for around 30-45 minutes and it was awesome cut through everything I needed it to and now the bushes are looking good ! This is a an awesome machine, very versatile, switches from hedge clippers to weed whacker or pole saw very easily, each attachment is sold seperately, I bought the hedge trimmers because of it's heavy duty blades and extra pole length, it comes with a shoulder strap because it is a bit heavy but with the harness it's perfect, I only gave it 4 stars because the secondary handle that comes with it is poorly designed and it can't be tightened enough so that it doesn't slip, so I contacted husqvarna and ordered a different handle from another model and that works perfectly. ... show more

    • Read the directions on how to adjust the motor, that come with the machine.
Let me first say, I own at least four pieces of Husqvarna Lawn Equipment. I have read some of the views, about the machine not running right. There is actually a piece of paper sent with the machine that tells and shows you how to adjust the "High (RPM's)" and "Low (Idle)." To make it easy, here's what you do: 1. You'll need to get a tool called a "Pac Man Tool," for adjusting the settings. You can get a carburetor tool kit for a few bucks on Amazon. 2. If you're looking at your engine compartment, look behind the primer bulb and you see two small circle nuts. Crank your machine up and adjust the "Low" one first, it's the one closest to engine/cylinder. Without touching the throttle adjust it to where the blades barely, if any move. Then hold down the throttle and adjust the "High." You want to find the "Sweet Spot," to wear it doesn't die and runs normally. This is all you have to do. I will say, the one thing, that did aggravate me was, I had to use a pair pliers to adjust the Wing Nut, to where the handle won't move. I know, it's a Swedish Company, where they assemble the machine parts in China. Yet, some of the pieces are made in Sweden. WTF! ... show more
