I got this wetsuit one size up from what my son wears now, because I wanted him to have something once he outgrew his current wetsuit. However, when he tried this one on, it fit him like it was his current size. This leads me to believe that these run a little small. My son is six. He wears a size 8 in pants, and a 10 in shirts. This wetsuit is a size 12. My son also said that it feels tight around the neck, which is never a good thing. I like Hurley products, and was really surprised by how it fit. It fits well, but with it being a size 12, I was really hoping it would be a little bigger on him. I can't complain too much, because it does fit him now. I would just suggest to anyone buying one of these that you order, at least one size up from the size your child usually wears. Otherwise, it may be too small. ... show more

Size: 16 (5'4" – 5'7")
This is a pretty basic short sleeve spring suit which are great for summer time in socal. Stitching all looks good with no fraying and the zipper is solid and easy to zip from the back. Seams look pretty tight, they are not glued or taped like you'd see on a winter suit. The sizing does run a little small...I have a 14yo who is ~5'6" and 130lbs and the size 16 fits tight but just about perfect...which is snug around the chest. I doubt the size 16 would fit 5'7" and 180lbs. ... show more

I usually can wear size 16 comfortably. This is really tight on me that I have hard time breathing around my neck area. It is really hard to put it on or take off. I do feel warmer than wearing regular swimming suit though.

Size: 16 (5'4" – 5'7")
Fits on the small side. The sizing chart accounts for height and weight, but if you have larger than average thighs you will not be able to fit into these. You have to be extremely slender to fit into these and I even ordered the size 16.

Got it for my 12 years old son. Based on size chart I should to choose size 12 so I did but when it came up it wasn't possible to put it on. So if you looking to get one take size bigger than it showing on the chart.
