This is a mass produced item. So know what you're getting into. My first unit came with a crack at the base if the neck. Luckily I was able to get it replaced no issue, so full marks to Amazon logistics for that. (If you buy it as an Amazon prime item this will be the case, can't say what happens if you buy from a 3rd party) The guitar itself is a great value. After a few days of breaking in it sounds and plays fine. I bought it as a spare/beater/tinker that I can work on myself, leave downstairs (where the kids can get to it), take camping or to parties, and not worry about it getting damaged. So I can recommend it for that. I would however give a word of caution for anyone thinking of buying this as their starter guitar. The action is a little high and would especially be so for a beginner. Getting a pro to do a set up adjustment could cost almost as much as the guitar, so you would probably be better served with a used guitar that has already been set up for a beginner. But, if you cant find a used and do decide on this to learn on it won't be the end of the world. Update: I still have this guitar 2 years later. I've done a bunch of tinkering. Replaced just about everything, the tuning machines the nut and saddle, I even replaced the bridge (only impacted the intonation a wee bit) I stand by everything I said before, this is a great beater/tinker! ... show more

I love it!! I’ve been strumming it and playing all day and it’s so awesome. Mine came perfectly intact, and not a single scratch on it. I’m not sure why everybody else had the luck they did but mine came perfectly. The sound is great, and it feels great in your hands. I got the red and black guitar and it’s super glossy and the paint is an amazing color. I didn’t expect it to look so good. I did scratch it, so the paint on the little accent beside the hole (can you tell I’m new to guitar playing) is easily scratched off. When you pick it up, it does feel lighter and less quality than other guitars, But all in all, for $60 this is probably the best guitar you can get for a beginner or if you’re just broke and really want to play. If you’ve been playing a few years and you’re picky, maybe don’t buy it. Invest more money. But I’m really happy with it. ... show more

Actually very impressed with this guitar! Especially for this price, you can't beat it! i would strongly recommend purchasing a pack of "D’Addario" strings in place of the stock strings. I went with the "D’Addario EXP26 Coated Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings, Light, 11-52". ($12.00) Replace the stock strings with these and you will be shocked by what this cheap guitar is capable of! The absolute best alternative for an expensive acoustic guitar. I had my brother try it as well as my step-father without me mentioning anything about it. They've been playing for years and were shook when I told them that I had bought it for this price. Throughout our excitement we played for a while and kept complimenting this guitar. With these strings the sound and quality is on point! We did notice a gap between the strings and fret was pretty significant toward the end but with simply loosening The D and G strings you can adjust the neck with a hex key. ... show more

The way mine came came it was borderline useless.. The body wood is very thin... it resonates beautifully. The Frets come very rough bends fall off instantly. I leveled and polished them. Plastic nut and saddle well.... Replace with bone for 6 bucks you'll be glad you did, I had to actually file slots for the strings into the plastic bridge to get the action perfect.. Worth it! This thing came with some cheap china phosphor bronze strings. I'm Shocked they sound perfect with the bone, i kept em. Tuners feel super cheap and loose like they could break at any moment, but they haven't yet and they hold tune. If you don't mind a little diy and have a few hours to spend on this thing you can have a great sounding guitar for super cheap. ... show more

guitar has an excellent sound like thin guitar its not very sturdy construction so its not last a long time good for price though cause sound and it plays good and its easy to play it doesnt stay in tune good but for under 100 you cant beat its good for temporary replacement or travel guitar if you dont want ruin your more nicer ones that costs more its good for beginners has good balance and projection too its good if you dont have guitar you cant afford alot great sound plays good not very sturdy construction doesnt stay in tune good though but you cant get much for under 100 this is a great for that price range love it i think i'll be using it as my take around guitar got for great price ... show more
