Apparently a few people have had problems with assembly or part’s not fitting together but I didn’t experience any issues at all. Everything fit together as it was supposed to and I was able to get it together in about an hour. A younger more able bodied person could probably get it assembled in 30 minutes, but I have bad knees so it took a bit longer. The seller did email me instructions just in case I had a problem with a couple parts not fitting properly and how to deal with it, so I was thankful for that even though my bed frame was just fine. Where to start with this horrible product? I thought I was different, that the negative reviews were for others and I would not share the same bad luck with quality control. Imagine this, you're almost done building this frame, yet the last leg doesn't fit because the screw holes were badly drilled. That's fine! You can zip tie it right? Nope! Other bars and support beams were in the same boat! The metal slats that go across the center? Some fit but the side bars were bent at a near u shape that one wouldn't notice unless they were trying to piece together the frame. Tldr? Unless you want literally MISMATCHED PARTS and a headache towards returning the piece of work...don't get it. EDIT 6/28 I would like to formerly apologize for being so hasty in my review, after having a quick email from Harper from customer service, I had saw that she was indeed right in what she had messaged me: "If you encounter an assembly issue like '#7 leg isn't lining up properly with the #5 legs', don't worry. We have investigated and resolved this issue, which is caused by having the labels of parts six and seven reversed. Please note that #6 and #7 are not the same length in horizontal rail; one is shorter than the other. To resolve the issue, you can simply use the shorter one with the #5 parts (the round corners) and connect the longer one with the #1 and #2 part (the square leg)." Doing so had magically fixed my issues, and would like to share that with ya'll as well. Got this frame for my daughter's room. Love the height so she can store things under. It was easy to put together. Note - after putting together the side rails, I noticed that my top rail holes did not line up. I just loosened the side rail bolts and then everything was easy to match up. I then retightened everything. Only complaint is that there is nothing to hold the mattress in place so it can slide. ... show more

There are two main side rails that connect the slats and 3 crossbeams. This first unit had two of the same rail making assembly impossible. They were numbered correctly with the stickers but somewhere in the packaging line they mixed things up. Very easy to request a replacement, hopefully they didn't ship out a bunch of these with the dupe side rails. It seems quite sturdy and the assembly is simple. Shipping box is about 8x8x40. Will update rating if 2nd unit is free and clear of problems... UPDATE: Received the replacement and assembled in less than 8 minutes (it helped to have a socket wrench set to tighten the 12 lock nuts faster. Only minor quibble is that the mattress slides easily on the metal but this is to be expected and one only needs to buy a non-slip mattress pad. ... show more

As seen in the photo, two holes were misaligned. Luckily, Ace Hardware supplied a two similar nuts and bolts. Upon completion, I put my mattress on the frame and sat down to test it. Got this to replace a very old frame/box spring combo and I couldn't be more happy. The frame feels sturdy and was easy to put together. The seller sent me an email the day I received the package with some clarifications about assembly and a potential correction the instructions. Thankfully, the correction was not necessary for the instructions that I received, but the email was still helpful with assembly. The only note I would make is that the bed does indeed slide around a bit without anything on the sides to stabilize it but I'm not too bothered by that.
