  • Indestructible
Style: 26" Denim Blue
This bike is great. I bought this thinking it would last the summer, and here I am still hauling my now 6 year old in a trailer behind it 3 years later. Sure, some of the gears are slipping a bit now, brakes don't work. But for the price you get a very solid platform. I plan to put an electric motor on this thing and drive it to my grandkids graduation one day! ... show more

  • Perfect trail cruiser with a few upgrades
Style: 26" Matte Black
The media could not be loaded. I’m a bigger guy (6’ 240lbs) and this bike has been great so far. I was worried it would fall apart after a few runs but it has held up great for well over 2 dozen rides. It took a bit to get the gears shifting properly but i have them dialed in now with no hesitation or skipping EVER which surprised me. 3 things I would recommend: First I bought a nice wide, soft seat which makes a huge difference as the stock one is like sitting on a skinny rock. Second I bought wider, longer hand grips. My hands were hanging off sides of the ones that came stock. Lastly, and what helped me enjoy this bike the most was upgraded metal spiked pedals. The stock ones are plastic and my feet were sliding off them constantly especially on wet days. Probably spent a total of 75 bucks on all the upgrades and it was well worth it. I’m not jumping off any cliffs or anything just cruising through the bumpy woods and this bike has been perfect for that. ... show more

  • Shame on Amazon for labeling this “Amazons Choice”
Style: 26" Denim Blue
I really hate writing a bad review, I have a business and I understand when idiots want to rant about nonsense to get money back. That’s not why I am here. I am here because I just want to save others from going through what I went through. I almost always read reviews before I buy, but I didn’t on this one because I trusted the “Amazon’s Choice” label that’s put next to the rating. I figured I can’t go wrong. I don’t know pricing on bikes, and I take responsibility for that, if I knew that the price would lead to me saying “you get what you pay for” I would have bought a nicer bike, which, I’m going to have to end up doing now anyway. This bike is junk, it might as well be sitting in a dump somewhere. It’s garbage. I’ve ridden it maybe 4 times. Every single time I ride it (I’ve been trying to ride for about an hour to get a decent work out), every time I ride this bike the handle bar comes loose. The first time it came so loose it was just flopping around and almost falling off, I couldn’t believe it. I thought maybe I didn’t tighten it enough. So each time now before I ride, I have to tighten it as much as possible and every single time by the end of the hour it’s coming loose. Now on my last ride yesterday, not only was the handlebar coming loose, the left pedal is falling off. Keep in mind I’m not doing bike stunts or tricks, I’m not mountain biking on crazy trails. I am riding my bike around boston on flat easy to ride bike trails that aren’t strenuous. I am a novice rider who is barely even pushing the limits of the bike yet this piece of trash is falling apart right from under me as I ride it gently around bike trails in the city. It’s kind of a joke. Don’t waste your money, seriously. Spend a little more and get a real bike. Now I will have to do the same and just eat the loss because the return policy doesn’t let me return it anymore and I haven’t even had it a month. Enjoy the money you robbed me of, huffy, you’ll never get another dollar from me ever again. ... show more

  • Pretty standard bike
Style: 26" Matte Black
It's a decent bike. The video was very informative for assembly and adjustments. Adjusting the front brake took me some time to figure out how to get it just right but eventually I got it. Luckily the back brake didn't need any adjusting. The gears could propbably use some adjusting but they still work when shifting so I just left them alone for now. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because of price. I just dont feel like any standard mountain bike should cost over $200. Also the seat sucks lol. Definitely need to invest in a better seat if you want the rude to be comfortable. ... show more

  • Great value if it’s on sale
Style: 26" Cloudy Gray
For someone that does casual biking, this thing is awesome. I got it on sale and it’s amazing on gravel and pavement, so far that’s all I’ve tried it on but it handles likes champ. I used to be a bike builder so putting it together was extremely straight-forward, although I put together two of these and both had the pieces for the seat clamp sprawled all over the bottom of the box; very lucky they stayed in the box even with being shipped all the way over to Hawaii. The seat isn’t that comfortable but that’s what to expect from a cheap bike, and you can always swap it out for whatever seat fits what you’ll use it for. Gearing needed to be adjusted just slightly, and works great even on bumpy terrain. I’m about 220 pounds so I tightened up the tail spring a good amount and it glides over bumps, fantastic deal. ... show more

  • Mediocre quality
Style: 20" Metallic Cyan
The frame of the bike is good and my son is enjoying it. The bike is not the highest quality though, and I expect it will not last more than a year with as often as my son uses it. The front wheel was slightly bent out of the box, which made adjusting the front brakes a real joy. Most annoying is that the handlebar/steering arm will not stay in place, no matter what. Every time my son drops the bike with even mild firmness, the handlebar gets misaligned. The manual says to be careful about overtightening, and I heeded that advice initially. Unfortunately, I have found that even cranked down at max strength, the handlebars still won't reliably stay in alignment. I have concluded it's the result of a poor fit and cheap fasteners. Same issue with the seat. Oh and the clearances on the kickstand are so tight thst my son has trouble raising and lowering it. I plan to fix that with a Dremel. Next time I'll spend the extra money on something with a little better build quality. ... show more
