As a disclaimer, I will say that this has gotten very little use, so far. But, so far it has passed the test with flying colors. The cable seems to be well made and thick. I have ran sanders and grinders as well as battery chargers with it. I have used it inside and outside. The light up ends work well and are extremely handy in dark situations. The cable is nice looking. It is a great bonus that they added the velcro tie to it so that you can roll it up and save space when not using.

Very nice extension cord. Much more heavy duty than the standard 16 gauge outdoor cords. The lighted end make it easy to tell in the dark if there is a power issue. Seems well made and should last many years. I'm using it together with another 50 foot cord of the same type to power a portable a/c unit to cool a 1200 sqft shed for my dogs. Working fine.

I'm not sure what product other customers received but what I received appears to be a good quality extension cord at a great price. It was delivered today and I immediately unpacked it and put it into service. Before I buy pretty much anything from Amazon I read some reviews. I always start the 1 star and work up to the 5 star reviews. Some of the 1 and 2 star reviews were pretty brutal and appear to be honest but I decided to roll the dice with this extension cord anyway. First impression was that it isn't the heaviest 12/3 extension cord in my inventory but it is on par with several other name brand cords in my possession. The jacket is really nice and it easily unrolled laying totally flat without the usual drama of twisting, bending and other manipulation necessary to make it functional. The only other newly purchased 12/3 extension cords I have owned that lay flat without wrestling into submission are expensive silicone jacketed cords. It will be outside in the weather in direct sunlight 24/7 so it won't take long for me to see how it will hold up. I will update this review if there is rational to do so down the road. Oh, and I ordered a 75ft cord and received all 75 feet.
