I occasionally have to replace the tennis balls on the legs of a relative's walker and I always worry I'm going to cut myself while trying to slice open the ball with a utility knife. Not any more because these Zujeam pre-cut balls remove that worry. They are just like the tennis balls you normally buy, except they already have the X slot cut in them. This pack of four walker balls are up to the usual standard for this type of product. The rubber is of average thickness, the fuzz is of average denseness, and they are precut. As usual, we had to widen the cuts with heavy duty household shears since we prefer to install the tennis balls over the existing walker feet. That method prevents the sharp aluminum leg of the walker from cutting through the rubber from the inside. Since they will be used exclusively indoors, I expect these walker balls to offer good durability—inevitably the fuzz will wear off in a matter of days, but the rubber will last for a few months. ... show more

These are tennis balls, thick solid, heavy duty tennis balls. But with an "x" cut into them so they can easily be placed on walker legs. Or hung in the garage so you know when to stop your car. Or placed over a knob to keep the children from getting into something they shouldn't. The possibilities are endless. And they are only $4 with the current coupon. These pre cut tennis balls are great. All the cuts are the same size and even, so each ball fits onto a leg the same way without wobbling. They have no smell and the dye seems to be stable and non staining. At $8, these are very overpriced. These seem more like a $2 or $3 item. Exactly as I expected. These tennis balls come cut in an "X" design just as needed to create an opening to push over the end of a walker's foot to help slide around as needed. They are also still tight enough that they don't fall off when the walker is picked up.
