This item works really well for my use. I don't use it as an extra pressing mat; instead I use it as a mousepad to essentially lift up an area for easier pressing. It seems to work really well for me but the only drawback is that the material that this mat is made out of tends to stick to the fabric. It's essentially cloth on cloth and will create friction and stick to the fabric. If one side was made of polyester or something to allow easier sliding, I would like it a lot more.

This review is for HTVRONT Heat Press Mat (11.5x11.5). Executive summary: this is a great Cricut knockoff for less than half the price :) I was very happy with how the mat performed - it provided a good support and protected underlying surface from heat. The quality of finishing is very good - all the stitches are straight and there are no loose ends. There is a sizing mismatch though: posting list is this mat as a 12x12, while the package says 11.5x11.5 (which perfectly matches the actual size). I would usually remove a start for such a mismatch, but given the price and performance, I think this mat still deserves a full score!

Not a whole lot you can say about this, except it works well and then price point is better than the Cricut branded one. I now own a LOT of HTVRONT products and they have all been above average in quality and on-par with name brands like Cricut. At the time of this writing, this mat was $10 and the Cricut one was $12, so it's not a ton cheaper. But they both perform the same, so why not save a few bucks?

I wish I would have found this before I brought the cricut brand!! It does its job and doesn't leave marks on my desk when I iron on vinyl on my shirts!!
