This dresser is very beautiful and is sturdy. The drawers aren’t the sturdiest but exactly what you would expect at this lower price point. It’s a great value for the price. I love the gold accents and the fluted pattern on the drawers. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the smell. It had a strong smell right out of the box and I should have left the wood in the garage for a few days. However, I’m not sure if that would have been enough. I put the dresser together quickly and easily and put it in the room. We left the window open during the day for a few days but the smell was still so strong it was hard to stay in the room. We put charcoal filters in the room and continued to open the window. The smell took about 3 weeks to completely dissipate.

When I bought it, it came with several parts scratched or a little bit damaged. Still functional, but we wanted it to look nice on the external side, we didn’t care about the internal pieces. We contacted the seller, provided pictures, negotiated a little bit and at the end they just sent a complete new set. Nowadays it is very valuable this level of customer service, because we know that could be a loss for them, but they sticked to the correct thing to do, and we expect they can recover later. Thank you!

It’s great for the price point and elegant! Seems very sturdy but lightweight enough that I can move it by my tiny self. Comes damaged on some parts but what do you expect for the money. Loose a star for the damage. Some damage is not visible and some visible, but it’s beats paying over a thousand dollars for a heavy bedroom set you will have to move, carry, and sell for 10% of what it’s worth. Will probably last about four years before the screws corrode and it breaks down. Past any warranty. I ordered furniture paint to hopefully cover the damage. My OCD doesn’t seem to mind it so I’m not bothered.
