I use this Mat at my fly tying bench. It’s grippy, it has an edge to keep things from rolling away, it’s got holes to stick tools in and the little tray holes in the top are magnetic which is nice for holding hooks and razors. It also has a ruler running along to top which is nice for getting quick measurements. I was going to buy a bead mat or something from hareline but I actually think this mat is way more useful. It also makes it easy to move where I’m tying (if I want to move over to the coffee table or something). Also when it’s dirty you can just pick it up and shake it out into the trash. Or run a lint roller across it to get it really clean. Super useful for fly tiers or really anyone crafty. ... show more

It is useful but overpriced. The magnet portion of the mat seems insignificant. The measuring section and numbers are useless because they are difficult to read. 4 out of 5 for making me pay more than I think it is worth. $19.95 should be the price.
