For being the cheapest Silicone Repair Mat that I could find on Amazon, this mat feels high quality. I got the black color, and I really like it. The mat is bigger than it looks in the product images for sure. I recommend users actually measure it out with a measuring tape. It's great for working on mobile devices! I got it because I don't want to put a hot phone on a wood table and risk burning the table. So safety wise, this does the trick. There doesn't seem to be any magnets in it, however, but I don't believe the HTM-201 model was advertised to have any. For my purposes of phone repairs, this mat is very suitable. It's heat resistant, has built in "treys" for tools, parts, and screws, and it's big enough for my needs.

I originally wanted a little magnetic pad to keep track of screws during a project, but I ended up finding this as a recommended item instead and thought it would have more utility than just a tiny magnetic pad. This is a large size silicone surface which is perfect for my mechanical keyboard hobby. It provides a soft area to place fragile pcbs and an easy to wipe off surface when lubing switches. There are many compartments to place the different parts of key switches or screws and a few small magnetic pockets for smaller screws. Its heat resistant material is also great when soldering switches as well. I wanted a different color, like a lighter shade, so I can see screws easier, but this size only came in black, which is gives it a nice clean look, but harder to see small screws. I didn't thinking about having such a surface to fix up keyboards and have been risking multiple desk mats as my surface. Very happy with this product.

I make stained glass pieces as a hobby and wanted something new to use when soldering my pieces together. The flux you use when soldering the glass together can get quite messy. After using this a few times now I can say that it cleans up perfectly, even after getting sticky flux all over it. Great quality and I love that I can roll it up and tuck it away.

Perfect for what it's made for, and exactly as described. Works well to mitigate heat, and doesn't move around when you're trying to work. The design/grooves help to trap rogue screws from falling onto the floor. Can be rolled up for storing. The only potential issue is that dust collects on it quickly and adheres to the silicone surface (this is common with silicone). Overall, great product. Owned for roughly 1 year, and counting.

Great little mat! I use a variety of different things and this mat is wonderful. Hardly anything sticks to it and it cleans up easily. So far I have had solder, hot glue, epoxy, resin, tape and super glue on this thing and all came off easily. The super glue stuck a little but scraped off easily enough. I have sat my soldering iron on it for a few moments with no damage. I also regularly have a heat gun suspended above it melting stuff and the mat has held up well. Has little compartments to keep stuff from rolling away and that works great for what I make. My only regret is not getting the bigger size but the small one was the best value.

I use this Mat at my fly tying bench. It’s grippy, it has an edge to keep things from rolling away, it’s got holes to stick tools in and the little tray holes in the top are magnetic which is nice for holding hooks and razors. It also has a ruler running along to top which is nice for getting quick measurements. I was going to buy a bead mat or something from hareline but I actually think this mat is way more useful. It also makes it easy to move where I’m tying (if I want to move over to the coffee table or something). Also when it’s dirty you can just pick it up and shake it out into the trash. Or run a lint roller across it to get it really clean. Super useful for fly tiers or really anyone crafty.

This is a really nice mat. There is a warning sticker about letting the thing air out before you use it; they are right, it stinks. So I put mine out on the balcony overnight to air out and the smell was gone! The mat protects my island top when I'm working on a project and it is really easy to clean with a damp cloth. Highly recommend!
