Our dog is completely black and almost invisible when we walk at night, so this light helps him be visible to cars and other people on the street. It came fully charged and has a nice, very visible light without being too bright to annoy him or us. You can toggle between settings by pushing the button, to either have the light flicker on and off or just be a solid light. We never use the flickering, but I suppose that would be even more noticeable for motorists. It just seems a bit annoying to me. It's very large by default - big enough to fit around a large St. Bernard, I would think. For our 90 pound doodle I had to trim it down a bit, which is easy to do. You just pull the clear tube out of the power center thing, cut off some amount with scissors, and push it back in. For our big dog, I cut off about 3 inches, but you could remove a lot more for a small dog. It comes with a short micro-usb charging cable, so if you want to plug it into a wall socket, you'll need an adapter like the one at the bottom of the attached picture. Or you could plug it into a laptop or something that takes USB type A. That wasn't a problem as we have quite a few adapters lying about from other electronics.

We dogsit a lot of dogs and like to go on several walks, some of which take place at night. This dog necklace will increase visibility for us. I like the ability to cut it to customize the size. Since we sit for many different dogs, we will leave the length as it is for now. The photo shows a smaller dog modeling it. It fits nicely looped around her twice. We may cut it if it's too big for the labs we watch. It is only held in place by inserting the tube into the base. It fits snug, but I could see it easily coming off if a dog doesn't want to wear it and paws at it or rubs it on the ground. It has a really old micro USB charging port, but comes with the cable needed to charge it. You'll need a USB wall adapter to plug the cable in.

If you live in the woods or in a busy city that has dark streets, then this light up collar is a must have for walking your dog at night. The light emitting part of the collar is a smooth plastic, so it's super easy to clean. Super simple to setup and use - I cut the clear plastic tube part of collar about 2 inches larger than circumference of my dog's neck so I can easily slide the glow collar on and off him before a walk. There's 2 light modes - slow flashing and a steady on. My dog has dark/brown fur and people would always trip over him on the sidewalk at night, but with this flashing collar, people can see him from across the street! Good battery life - about 4 hours steady on, which is good enough for about a week of dog walks for me. The only thing I don't like about this collar is that it uses mini-USB port for charging - yes, not USB-C, not microusb, but MINI-USB. This kind of USB connector haven't been commonly used in probably 10 years, so it's a little annoying having to swap out the USB-C./Micro-USB cables on my chargers with a Mini cable just to recharge this glow collar.

This LED light up collar is just what I wanted -- especially now that it gets dark so early. I live in a downtown area of a big city and having something like this for when I walk my dogs out at night is really helpful, especially in the case that (heaven forbid!) he slips out of his regular collar and runs out into the street. My dogs are black labs, so they're impossible to see at night with their dark coat. The collar is adjustable via cutting the plastic - which you likely will need to do even if you have a big dog. It's easy - I just used a regular scissor to trim the plastic. This charges via USB and comes with a charger cord. It lights up nice and bright! Good value for the price.

I have been searching for lightweight LED collars for my dogs to wear on walks ever since it's been getting dark earlier in the evening, but they often weigh too much for my 30lb puppy to wear. The HTii-ë® Light Up Dog Collar is the perfect light-up accessory for your dog. I love that it's extremely lightweight and is completely adjustable, you just trim it to the length you want. Our adult dog already has a light-up collar, but we just got a puppy, and wanted him to have one too. Finding this Hii-e collar was just what we needed. It is trimmable to fit, but it won't be long and we'll need the entire length, so we're not going to trim it. A friend just got a light-up collar for her pups and she was complaining about how many batteries she goes thru. I really like that this is rechargeable. The bright color is easily seen at night when we're taking that last walk before bedtime. Absolutely love it!

This light up collar is great for walking my pooch when it’s dark. We live in an area with lots of townhomes and apartments, drivers don’t pay as much attention anymore. There were several occasions that cars were pulling out of the driveway while on their cell phones. They cut right in front of me and my pooch. Not sure if they didn’t see us or they just didn’t care. This light up collar will at least give these ignorant drivers an indicator someone or something is moving! I personally think this light up collars are life savers.

For a completely dark night, this would probably make a pup pretty visible, but on a full moon night or in an area that has a lot of street lighting, it will struggle to show up. I picked orange because it's not a color you just see out in the world very often, so it will stand out more than a color like blue or green might, but you definitely do not want to get a color that will blend with the environment. I really thought this was going to be LED strips around the whole collar, and it isn't. It's one LED or LED cluster in the connector and then the collar itself is fiberoptic. It's a neat design concept, but it really doesn't make for a super bright collar. Think about this more like a rechargeable glow stick, in terms of light level. It's cute for a rave, and it would be great for that venue, but it won't be useful for a whole lot else.
