  • Great quality, lightweight level that can be hit.
Great levels. I come from using crick levels. These levels are lighter and just as accurate. It took a little bit to get used to, only have one side to use as a straight edge. It would be nice if the horizontal bubble was in the middle of the frame instead of being on the edge. Also, have the level a full 48" then have the rubber caps . ... show more

  • The cost was about the same as a good wood level
I had this same set I purchased 7 years ago. They take extreme use/abuse. Iv'e built/ rebuilt a number of chimneys and piers/pillasters. I've owned Crick, Velander and some other brands. After 1 to 2 years, no matter how careful you were with them, these wooden levels wouldn't reverse { show plumb from side to side or up and down } it was replacement time. Other mason's I worked with saw how well the Stabila stood up to the rigors of our work environment. The cost was about the same as a good wood level, but you don't have to replace as often. ... show more

  • Son loves his gift!
I bought this for my son as a gift, and he is thrilled with the levels. He said that the only way to improve the levels is to make them magnetic.

  • Nice set. I have always used a wood level
Nice set. I have always used a wood level. Getting hard to see the level bubble on low courses. I know other bricklayers and tile setters that use stabila levels exclusively. Time will tell if I like them or not
