This blanket was purchased as a way to protect my bedspread from the excessive chewing my dog will sometimes do. He starts by chewing on his feet (yes we are treating him for his allergies but it's not always successful) and he get carried away and will end up chewing a hole in my bedspread. This way he only chews a hole in a fairly inexpensive blanket. I have two of these and they are nice and soft and easy to to wash. So far my dog has not chewed a hole in either of them but even if he does the price was low enough we can easily replace them. If you are looking for a nice thick throw this is not the one for you, but if you want a soft and lightweight blanket I would recommend it.

I was hoping to buy another blanket when this one was suggested because my intended purchase was no longer available. This one is not as thick as the one I planned to buy but it certainly is soft and cozy. Turned out to be a very nice blanket which I used for a gift.

Have these in other solid colors - they are great. The houndstooth is printed, so if it’s stretched at all it shows white through. Only washed once so far. Nice blanket for the price and will work in the camper that I bought it for.

This blanket is perfect as a throw to curl up on the sofa when it’s not overly chilly. It is very light weight, so I wouldn’t use it to sleep with unless as part of a layer of multiple blankets for having something super soft right up against you.
