There are a lot of brushes in this set! They are high-quality, especially for the price. There's a nice variety of shapes and sizes. These will work well for blending and finer details like eyeshadow and liners. The instructions were well written. The brush bristles are very soft and strong.

I went through a couple of sets of other brushes through other manufacturers first. There were far fewer brushes and many of the things I needed weren't available. As a matter of fact, I was disappointed at some of the limited brushes there were in other sets. There are so many different brushes in this set and they are so important...especially for beginners who don't know what they're for, like me! Many of the other sets I purchased were lacking the smaller brushes that would allow me to do "cut creases", for example. This has every brush you can imagine. The only issue is I paid about half of what this now costs. Is it still worth it? I would check out other prices but I think it probably still is. I have not lost any bristles nor have I had any cracking brushes but if I did, I would return these. It's better to buy the more expensive brushes and be able to wash them repeatedly. I haven't washed them that often because I don't use them that often... the less work I have to do the better!... But some of the new techniques I see on YouTube are cool. ... show more

The brushes are on the shorter side. They are made with lower grade hairs, but you get what you pay for. They are cute and come in a great variety of colors with lots of brushes to choose from.
