I was pleasantly surprised by this carrier, all I had to do was unfold it to pop it open and slide a carpeted board that was provided into the bottom. It’s durable and is large enough to comfortably hold my two tabby cats. It’s a great product at its value I highly recommend

I've wanted a soft sided carrier for quite some time; I would think it would be much more comfortable than one of those plastic ones, no matter how much padding you put in them. Before this, I hadn't had very good luck with soft-sided cat carriers, so I was a bit dubious about this one. I was unsure all the the way up to the point where I opened up the carrier. It came in a rather flat box, which worried me. I opened up the box, then the carrier itself. It sprang open easily and seemed sturdy to me right away. I left it on the floor so my fur kids could check it out. One of them crawled in and proceeded to make themselves quite comfortable. So it's kitty approved. 😺 I tested it with my 9lb cat, and it worked out just fine (including a few "test lifts"). On top of all this, I really like the color. ... show more

I have a bigger cat and so I pay close attention to measurements when getting a new carrier. It should have been big enough but my cat was very cramped and clearly uncomfortable based on how eager she was to get out (normally she is ok with being in her carrier). It has a nice sturdy bottom and zippers that open on multiple sides but it doesn’t fold down very well which makes storage harder than I’d like it to be. I have to take the base out to flatten out, which just creates a little more work than I would prefer. ... show more

This carrier is sturdy, has all of the features you want, easy to clean lining, shoulder strap, pockets, mesh on almost all sides for good air flow (I would have preferred mesh on all sides, especially since the one side that doesn't have it, is a long side - which is not what I put against the seat of my car when we go somewhere. That means that when the carrier is on my seat, there are effectively two sides that don't provide air-flow.) It's sturdy and takes some pretty good head-bumps to the top when Mr. Midnight is fussy about being in the car and trying to push his way out. The grey/mint color combination is really nice too. I really like this pet carrier. What I like: Good quality - material seems durable and stitched well. The bottom insert is stronger than those found in other carriers I have. Shoulder straps are comfy. Additional straps are provided so you can carry using hands or on the shoulder. 2 outside pockets to place items in. Full mesh openings on top and one side. Other side has a mesh window and the final end side has a limited mesh opening. All of this makes the carrier breathable. Zippered openings allow animal to be placed in the carrier through the top or through the side. Nice size - my cat jumped right in. For perspective, he weighs about 11 pounds and has plenty of room to move around. ... show more
