Cons: * drip marks on the side * It is not the most comfortable stool. * will be making modifications *very heavy. *slight bevel to the wood and it is not perfectly flat, not perfectly sanded * lots of bumps and ridges. Pro *sturdy piece *from a distance it looks rustic and nice

We removed our banquette seats from our rv. These stools are a perfect replacement. We have much more room around the table. We also love that we don't hit our elbows on chair backs with the stool option. And they look great too. Very sturdy.

I bought four stools. Only one of them didn't have something wrong. On two of them, a screw refused to go in. One one of those two, an angle was cut opposite as it should have been on a wooden bar. On the third, there was a part that didn't have threading so the screw couldn't grasp it. I recommend to not throw away the packaging until you know for sure there aren't any problems. ... show more

    • Beautiful stool let down by poor hole alignment *sigh*

After a day and a half of trying to get all the screws in and tightened, we have finally given up. The hole are so poorly aligned and potentially the step bars are too wide? It’s such a shame as it’s such a beautiful knotty wood, exactly what I had in mind. We got so far with the assembly - and my husband assures me that I could just let gravity take care of the rest of the support - however it was impossible to fully assemble despite the instructions being very clear and straightforward. I can’t even be bothered to take it apart just now...will wait a couple of days and decide what to do then. Grrrrr. ... show more
