  • Makes clean cuts in Hard Maple wood.
The HQMaster 1/4-inch router bit is used to make one small cut in a hard maple piece for a musical instrument. My first bit is still making clean cuts 3 months later. I highly recommend the router bit for precision work.

  • Not bad for the price
This five pack router set comes with various sizes. The pieces are sharpened and come in separate plastic storage cases. They fit my Makita router machine, cuts well on the softer woods, and I have to go slower on the hard woods.

  • You get what you pay for.
I bought a pack of 5, and one has already broken after the second use. I made no changes to my CNC settings from using my Amana (46225-K) bit previously. By no means am I endorsing Amana, just haven't found an alternative. I'm currently using the 2nd bit but I've already noticed it leaving a burnt residue on the backside of the wood...hope I got a bad batch. I guess I'm going to have to test their customer service as I'm wanting to return these inferior bits. Update: Today is 27 May 23 and the 2nd of 3 bits used has broken. I bought a pack of 5, so 2 more to go. The problem is when you leave your job unattended and the bit breaks, now you have a destroyed piece of material. I don't know about you but I don't like to babysit my CNC machine. Update: 31 May 23...contacted them and they swiftly gave me a refund. Customer service is excellent. I will give the same product a chance and purchase again to ensure I did not get a defective batch. ... show more
