    • Inexpensive and work well
It's always a gamble buying inexpensive end mills but I only had a few cuts to make and these come in a pack of 10 so even if some of them were dull or they broke during milling, I knew I'd have plenty of spares to get through the job. Turns out they're actually quite good! I used them for contouring 3mm acrylic sheet and doing some plunge cuts in red oak, and in both cases they milled cleanly with out fuss. The cutting length of these isn't particularly long, I wouldn't cut deeper than say 6mm total without milling a relief above your desired contour, but they're sharp and throw chips well. I'll happily buy this brand again when I need inexpensive cutters. ... show more

    • These cotters are fantastic and well worth the price.
I used this to rout places for fret markers on the ebony fretboard of my acoustic guitar. It was perfect. The routed cavity was flat on the bottom, with no grain tear- out, and the cutter is still sharp and in good condition. There are ten, so I have 9 new ones after this one to use. I bought these after spending $30 for one router bit that broke during practice. I will always try to have these cutters on hand. ... show more

I didn't figure they would be verry good, But to my surprise they cut good and leave a clean edge and seem to be strong haven't broke one yet, Only used on soft woods so far, I am pleased so far. Good value and price. Update , These bits are amazing I have cut Walnut, Cherry and Plywood, All have been 1/8 to 1/16in thick, about 10 carvings and the 1st bit is still going strong I am really impressed with them so far. ... show more

I had almost given up on my machine and its apparent lack of ability to mill Aluminum 6061 until I tried these endmills. On the Genmitsu 3018 Pro Max with an 800w 52mm spindle and these endmills it can finally Mill 6061 T6! The Settings are fairly conservative because the 3018 is a very entry level Desktop machine and its not Very rigid even among desktop CNC mills. Cutting Settings for Aluminum 6061 T6: Spindle speed @ 20,000 RPM Cutting Feed rate @ 400mm/min (15.75 IPM) Plunge Feed rate @ 24mm/min (0.95 IPM) Ramp Angle @ 5 Degrees Depth of Cut @ 0.35mm (0.0138 inches) Stepover @ 0.5mm (0.0197 inches) Moderately heavy misting coolant emulsion. Cutting Settings for Cast Acrylic and Most Plastics: Spindle Speed @16,000 RPM Cutting Feed rate @ 1,000mm/min (39.37 IPM) Plunge Feed rate @ 750mm/min (29.53 IPM) Ramp Angle @ 15 Degrees Depth of Cut @ 0.975mm (0.0375 inches) No coolant needed here but air mist was on to clear chips while cutting. ... show more

These bits cut great! The ones I usually use are about $40 each and these were around $30 for 10 and the cuts are amazing! I’m currently I’m using the 1/16” bits cutting .25” acrylic at 25000 rpm, 120 ipm and the cuts look really nice. I’ve done about 100 letters and it still looks as good as it did when I started. I use these bits to cut project parts from .125" plywood for homeschooled children to assemble. So far, one bit has cut enough kits for 20 students to assemble. It produces clean cuts with no need for cleanup sanding afterwards.

For the price of one bit of the same type from a different brand, I get 10 from HQ Master, much better deal! They cut great through the acrylic after I've had issues with other bits. I've already bought a couple different sizes and will definitely buy more of different types.
