The rug itself is very soft, and it comes well vacuum packed so it does take a little while for it to fluff up, so be patient. It's super easy to clean, and I can just pop it in the washer and dryer without issue which is a HUGE selling factor. Having kids makes this so useful when everything ends up on the rug. I’ve had this rug in my classroom for about a year and a half. At first, it was amazing. It felt soft, looked nice, and I eventually found a way to secure it to the floor. It took about six months for the fibers to start getting pulled out- normal for kids, I guess. But they also came out when I vacuumed it or shampooed it. This past summer, I simply could not get it all clean. There was so much dust that had collected it just wouldn’t come out- both on top and on the bottom. At this point, it’s going in the trash because it’s so dusty it’s making me sick. It might be fine in a bedroom, but I wouldn’t recommend it in any place with more than one or two people. ... show more
