I work as a Sysadmin, and am well versed in tech. I bought this for my little brother as he wanted a gaming laptop powerful enough for his games and whatnot. I didn't have the time to build something for him so this worked out great. Very nice, and he's incredibly happy with it. He's young so this will last him until High school. I'm sure he'll want a gaming desktop later on in a couple years. I was pretty impressed by the quality, I'm a huge fan of HP due to career experience and it looks and feels just like the Zbook's. I liked the laptop. But for the seller, why did you put a mouse photo next to the laptop, if you were planning to send a mouse pad instead of a mouse pad. Basically, I arranged my shopping list based on that mouse photo. Overall, laptop is really great.

    • Will not stay connected to the internet
I was really hoping this would work, especially for the price, but it did not. Similar to other reviews I have seen, this computer would not connect to the internet. Rather, I should stay it would not stay connected to the internet. The computer would connect to the WI-FI, then suddenly lose all connection. When I went to try and reconnect, it showed no available networks, even though all the other electronics in our house were connected to our WI-FI. I tried contacting customer service and at first, they said it sounds like it is the internet (reasonable), but when I said everything else in our house was still connected, they said to contact Dell. I tried contacting Dell, but after getting nowhere with a resolution, I figured I would just eat the loss and hope a local computer repair place and fix it without costing me an arm and a leg. The internet issue seems to be more common than it should with this computer. Which stinks because it looks like it could be a good computer. ... show more

Exactly 1 yr from activation item stopped working. My son contacted them and they said it was a day out of warranty even tho Xmas was year mark who would call on Xmas. I really thought they would work with me. Nope got to pay them to fix. Do not recommend. Besides that worked good for time. Cost too much not to last ... show more
