Overall, it’s sturdy, looks nice & you only attach the legs and, voila!, you’re done. However, the copper paint job was too bright for me. To tone it down I used acrylic paint and dabbed on my “ burnished” look with a wet sponge. This gives you more control as opposed to spray paint. It’s at least as good a job as they did.

Needed something to keep our newly blind dog out of the fireplace. In 12 years, he has never gone near it, but in relearning his surrounding, he kept wanting to go into the fireplace. We rarely light a fire but do burn candles. I was skeptical about the quality and design. But it was a perfect fit and looks great.

Got this to replace my old-fashioned brass/glass doors. So much “cleaner” and modern looking. The chevron design is perfect for my ‘50s house. Wish it was heavier but it’s sturdy enough, esp’ly as I have to move it to light the logs.
