This is replacing the laptop that I had for well over ten years. I so long waited in part because the old laptop had a CD/DVD drive and new laptops don't come with them. Despite that, this new laptop is exactly what I wanted to get. It has plenty of RAM and a large hard drive for pictures and other storage. It is not a touch screen, but that was not a deal breaker for me. The sale price was very good and it came in when it was promised. Set up was easy and I now have it connected to a docking station with an additional monitor and printer, plus a mouse and keyboard. I recently ordered a laptop in blue, but unfortunately, I received it in silver instead. While the laptop itself works fine and meets expectations in terms of performance, the incorrect color was a disappointment. Just got this HP 15.6 Flagship Business Laptop with the 32 GB of RAM an d1 TB SSD. Got it setup with Windows 11. It is working great, and is fast. The chip and graphics are robust enough to run AutoCAD Architecture 2025. I really like the keyboard layout as well. And it feels sturdy and durable. My only ding is the battery life - on the "Balanced" power setting I am only getting about 2 hours of power before I have to plug in. I think for a laptop, working remotely at some library, that can be a little tight. I am trying "Best Efficiency" mode now to see the difference. However, generally I am near an outlet and use the laptop for Zoom meetings, so it has not been a major issue. ... show more
