Great financial calculator. I've been using the HP 10BII for 20+ years in the commercial finance industry. I use this calculator daily. I'm sure it has many functions that I don't need, but its a must-have for quick amortization and calculating monthly payments of a set term length using a given interest rate. Just bought a new one as my old was 20+ years old and somewhat beat-up. The newer version has crisp/dark lettering on the screen and easy to read which I like vs the old one. Bought a separate case for it since while this does come with a case, its a tight leather case and not easy to pull out the calculator for easy use while on the phone (I prefer a hard case with snap enclosure or zip up). Other than that its a great calculator and will be used for many years to come in my line of work.

Decent calculator, but I wasnt' overly impressed. Yes, it functions well as a financial calculator and has the solid feel and "click" buttons you expect from HP. Plastic case is reasonably okay. I like the older style more, but this one works and is better than some others. I didn't give it 5 stars as it feels "light" kind of cheap in the hands. Some may like that, but as an HP user for many years, I like the solid heavier feel that is in the 17B or even 12c units. Time will tell how it holds up, but I much prefer my 17B so not sure how much use this one will get. Another thing I don't like, but seems more common on this is the battery compartment is a little tricky to open and also requires a tiny screwdriver. While batteries are usually not replaced often, the screwdriver requirment is a "pain" in my book.

Feels very poorly made, and most importantly you have to buy lithium 2032 batteries which are super expensive and hard to find. There is no benefit to this type of battery, an HP could have easily used a double A or triple A battery. I suppose I have a lot of people just don't want to deal with trying to find a 2032 battery so they just buy a new one which works in HP'S favor. But this is a big mistake and we will not buy HP again.
