This is exactly what I needed. I want to get in shape, but am overwhelmed by a gym. I am able to do so many exercises at home with this. Trust me, I worked up a sweat. There are some example exercises included in the package which I thought were very helpful. I am hoping that I will be able to get in shape at home.

The handles and foot straps are comfortable. I wish it had a little more resistance, but works pretty well. I have a bad back and this helps me work on core exercises to decrease my back pain.

Which I never do! But at this price for the pink one currently at 12$; I wanted to make sure I had a backup since this quality and style of these yoga resistance pedal bands are not just everywhere (but gimmicky cheap ones are). I’m already in great shape as I walk 8 mile nature hikes and do advanced yoga and Pilates often. So I was super shocked when I did the 8 exercises that are in the little booklet that this comes with…to find that while half of the exercises seemingly were too easy and the other half felt like a great work out…I wake up in the morning after this workout set using this feeling very sculpted and stronger and having lots of muscle soreness and do indeed need a muscle repair day using this! When I’m almost done doing the 8 exercises my heart does begin to work harder and I do work up a thirst afterwards so that shows me it’s an affective workout for even cardio needs. And I often walk up hills for long periods of time!!! Note that the trick to using the back exercise in the booklet is to kneel and slip the foot pedals on your feet first and then sort of not so elegantly position the handles behind you as the model in the photo does. This is not an excercise you’d be stretching all the way above your head with! This is a slow movement of about 4 to 6 inches lifts behind you. Maybe less. The ideas is to work the muscles not how high it goes and the 50 pound tension does a good job of this. Do hold in your core during all exercises just as you do with yoga and Pilates! Don’t forget that! Anyway for the price and the durability and the quality….This is amazing! The ones on the market right now are super silly and flimsy (and dangerous) but this one is a keeper. I also imagine one could use this solely as their full body fitness regime plus walking and be in great shape. It would also be great for low impact/ low cortisol workout goals while losing weight (as the workout wouldn’t make you feel ravenous afterwards so you could easily succeed at your weight loss goals not just fitness and physique!) I’ve never been happy with a workout tool before and I’ve bought and tried many over 20 years which is why I end up sticking with yoga and Pilates using my body only. This one is the best one by far!
