I am a small farmer who sells some chicks and hatching eggs every year. I use my incubators to do test hatches for my breeding projects. I've tried many different types (not all of them have made the cut over the years.) I liked this one pretty well and it's one of the biggest ones I have. It's easy to put together and to clean. It's of good quality and functionality and according to the independent thermometer/hygrometer I added to double check, the controls are accurate for the time being (as incubators age, they do get a little off over time and it's good to use a separate thermometer/hygrometer to verify and make any adjustments needed.) Most importantly to me, this machine doesn't have a humidity alarm on it, thank goodness! I use the dry hatch method with my hatches, as that works best where we live and machines with humidity alarms don't work for me and they drive my family crazy with their constant beeping or drown my chicks in their eggs.

So excited to use this incubator I currently have 30 eggs and are on day 5 of incubation. Everything works good and is super easy to assemble. So far the incubation process has been easy and going good. I haven’t had any trouble with temp and humidity. Very affordable and it came in a day before it was supposed to arrive. Definitely recommend.

I love the look of this incubator! It built so much more sturdy than the standard Styrofoam type I've had in the past! I also really love the clear top that makes it so you can see the whole batch of eggs at a time not just a tiny swath through a peak hole. Set up was simple and having the functionality of everything incorporated into it is such a time and money savings! It turns your eggs, candles them and regulates everything from heat to humidity. This whole incubator is cheaper than buying just a basic egg turner for the more standard Styrofoam type incubator! At 30 eggs it's a great size for hatching out a good batch of chicks and you can actually watch them hatch! We will update with our hatch rate once the chicks are done incubating. We are using this as a homeschool class science project and it's already been so much fun!

Item arrived timely and as described. This incubator is very easy to use, has an automatic egg turner which will need to be removed on lockdown. Easy to set controls, runs very quiet, generously sized and holds many eggs which makes it nice! The only drawback is that once you remove the egg turner, you have to watch that eggs do not get under the mechanism as it will crack eggs that are in the hatching process during lockdown if they get kicked or rolled under it during lockdown from other babies hatching. If you want to keep the humidity at a good level, incubator should be placed in a warm room and not a cooler room as it will affect your ability to be able to maintain the humidity where you want it to be but you can tape off the openings to help. It doesn't automatically water so you do have to add what you need. Hatch rate has been very good, about 80%.
