The product itself is great and works well, while looking minimal. I read reviews from the users who purchased one and it arrived damaged so I figured I’d buy two and use them on both sides of the bed if it arrived alright. It seems like there might be a quality check measure that could help prevent how frequently people report this odd damage (which looks like a split down the middle of the board from its original build process. Good otherwise.

I purchased this for my daughter's loft bed so that she can have a drink while she's up in her bed without getting down, or to set her phone on. She loves it and it has been very helpful. it's very sturdy and easy to install. You can see the screws that affix it to the bed because it's installed outwardly, but that would be the case with any product like this. It has felt covers so that the screws do not damage the surface. I would recommend this purchase.

No more dropped phone or spilled cups. This sweet tray clamps on and stays on. We even put a fan on one. No vibration or noice at all. Super great deal and fast shipping. If your bed has a thinner rail to attach it to, just slide a pain stick in between the rail and the clamp. Works like a charm. Love it and highly recommend.
