We bought this hover board for our 8 year old son , that loved his other hover board but over charged it . This one was nice for the first two weeks but know it would not turn off and then I tried to charge it and it turned off and now it will not turn on. Trying to see if I can reach the manufacturer to see what we can do to get it replaced. Not happy at all and we spent our hard working money on something that did not last long.

This particular hover board is on the heavier side compared to other's that we have tried. This makes it a bit more sturdy, and also a lot slower than others. Make sure you pay attention to the weight limits, and treat them as a law, or you will have some issues. This Rocket model hover has self-balancing feature, which is great if you are just starting out. it helps you to learn to do it like a pro! I wouldn't recommend this for anyone over the age of 11, this is best for the younger, smaller kids! Definitely not for adults!

Ok, so I'm a bit older but I've always thought these things look fun. They are. I was amazed by how responsive and just plain fun this thing is to ride. It charges in a few hours and, to be honest, I have had it over a week and haven't had to recharge it yet. The kids love to ride it and everyone has a blast once they get their hoverboard legs, which does take a bit. But it's like any other activity that requires balance: surfing, skating, etc., it takes a minute but then you get the feel for it and it becomes second nature. Please be careful, though! A kid can fall and usually not do too much damage, but older people trying this can definitely end up in the hospital! I didn't, but it was close! So I recommend everyone who tries and rides one of these, young and old, to wear a helmet, pads, etc. The ride is super smooth but when you hit a bump or crack, look out, your legs can go right out from under you. If you're in the market, this is an excellent board that I can recommend. The construction is sturdy and responsive, the lights are really cool looking, and it's very fun to ride. Have fun and be careful!
