Learning how to ride one of this things is not as easy as you would think. It is fun once you mastered it. It has plenty of power when fully charged. It is well made, and can handle a lot of abuse.

My daughter loves zebra's and her favorite color is pink...so this was perfect for her! Hover-1 is a name brand when it comes to hover boards based on the research that I did as I did not want to get a no-name-brand one. It uses a proprietary charger and lasts 2-3 hours before needing to be charged again. Balance is pretty easy to get the hang of and the wheels light up. Note for those of you who plan to purchase this for adult use...this is a kids one, weight limit is 130lbs!

With two 120 watts motors, 6 mph top speed and 130lb capacity, this is quite a good option for a beginner. My 9 year old is already riding a top of the line one proficiently, so now is her sibblings turn to learn as well. Very basic, small wheels, but not a bad choice for a 7 year old. We have about a dozen different ones being a Hover one of my favorites. This particular one, would rank right in between the worst half and best half in terms of apparent quality and functionality.

Hover-1 seems to be a well known brand among hoverboards and electric scooters. Max weight is listed as 130 lbs for this. It can go 6 MPH I wish the charging could simply be USB-C or something more common than proprietary.

I ordered this for my 8-year-old son, however, I think I want to use it more than he does. I'm over 40, and this is the first time I have ever used a hoverboard, so I was surprised on how they actually work. It reminds me of when I first learned to snowboard, and you need to be very strong in your thighs to keep your balance and to go where you need to go. I ordered the pink and purple zebra print, and it lights up in the front and on the sides. It will give you a warning sound if it thinks you are in a somewhat dangerous situation. This actually works fine on the carpet in the house, and I can get some speed maneuvering around and actually getting a workout on my thighs. It's a little tricky learning how to get off of it because if I only take one foot off it wants to spin out. Because this lights up so much it would be fun to use in the dark outside if you have a safe area to do so. It gets up to 6 mph which is pretty fast, and it is supposed to get about 3 hours in battery strength which I haven't actually timed. I just unexpectedly decided to use this for fun and a workout situation in the carpet in the house for my thighs so go me lol. It's much faster where intended outside on pavement. If I have any issues, I'll come back and update, since I'll continue to use this heavily but so far so good.

My daughter is 9. She loves this hoverboard. The color is super vibrant. The speed it perfect. It isnโt so fast or so slow. The top of the board has a good grip when she stands. Overall, happy with this product.
