PROS +Cool concept to be able transform a hoverboard into a go-cart +Packaging was sturdy +Assembly was fairly straightforward CONS -When unboxing, we noticed the hoverboard had an internal rattling noise right out of the box. This probably wasn't a good sign but we decided to still go ahead with setting the go-cart up. After fully charging everything, it beeped nonstop with a flashing red warning light the first time we tried to turn it on. I tried turning it off and recalibrating it by holding the power button down for 10-15 seconds. This however did not stop the beeping and flashing red light. Since it was not operational, I tried contacting the manufacturer. They however simply did not respond. -With poor customer support, I was forced to try to keep powercycling the hoverboard and trying to recalibrate it. After attempting this for dozens of times, the hoverboard finally stopped beeping to my surprise. We were able to get it to actually move for the first time. However when moving, the board again started beeping like crazy and flashing a red light. SUMMARY My son really was excited about this go-cart. My whole problem was that I waited just over 30 days after purchase to give it to my son for his birthday. This prohibited me from exchanging what I received for a new unit that did not have all the out of box issues we have had. Despite all the annoying beeping whenever the go-cart is moving, my son has been still trying to block that out and ride it. It is not ideal but at least he is able to get some use out of the go-cart since the manufacturer is not responding at all even though I went through their whole submission of a support ticket. If they ever get back to me with a good solution, I'll hopefully be able to update my review. It seems like other reviewers had good luck with the versions they received. So likely I just received a defective one.

We bought this for our 7-year old and it wouldn’t turn on after fully charging it. I reached out to the manufacturer, as requested, and made a warranty claim. They never responded. I returned it through Amazon and got a replacement one, which worked for about a day. After that it never turned back on. I tried to return it again, but Amazon said the only option was to get our money back.

We have a bigger version of this for the big kids and then decided to get a smaller version for the younger kids. At first I was trying to keep the younger kids off the big one because I don't think it's safe for them. But now I have to keep the big kids off this one because they could break it. It's rated for up to 80 pounds. Very fun design. Nice and low to the ground so I don't have to worry about them falling off something tall. Goes pretty fast but not too fast. Battery life seems pretty good.

This is a great ride for kids who aren't confident using hoverboards or if you're worried about any broken wrists. It offers the speed and feel of a hoverboard, but safely. This is quite durably made, and felt very sturdy for kids. That does make this a bit hard to transport when in kart form, but that's why you can remove and use it as a hoverboard. This is quite a good buy as you essentially get two rides for them in one. For riding around the block, it's fantastic in either form. You do have to calibrate this on initial setup, so plan a bit of time to do that. But kids really enjoy riding this, and say it responds well. The speed isn't high enough to be concerning, and riding it in the kart form looks very safe.

This is my third or fourth product from Hover 1 and everything they make has been great for me. My daughter loves this hoverboard and I like that it is designed directly for kids who are learning to keep them safe.

This 2 in 1 hoverboard is nice for kids as it is small sized and has the seat option which is fairly easy to set up. It goes pretty quick and can be a bit challenging but with the proper practice its able to be done by my 7 year old. The hoverboard needs calibration before riding and needs to be set up appropriately or you will have a hard time riding. We used the cart addition and learned the hard way that calibrations were absolutely necessary. This toy is fun and quick and the charge lasts a little while. My kids love this toy and it makes for a fun time anytime we're outside. It is a bit heavy but its easy enough to transport and take apart. Its not too expensive either like other combo hoverboards are, but its only made for children up to 80lbs. The board makes a beeping noise when the weight is maxxed out and the device will stop working. I like it a lot, but there is definitely a need for practice before just hopping on.
