I recently returned a similar type of steel bed frame to Amazon. I spent a lot of time looking at the bed frame products and the reviews. I decided to purchase this one. I am usually a skeptic and I can be a hard to please consumer. THIS ONE IS GREAT. It met all my needs and expectations. I do recommend that in the assembly it will be best to have two people doing this. Fastening the screw and nuts through the holes at the four corners really needs two people to do this properly which we found out. With that said, assembly is smooth and easy and the directions are straight forward. All components are properly marked and there re even some spare screws included (if you strip them during assembly). I found that to be a delightful bonus. I have had a horrible ordeal for the last twelve months going through numerous platform bed alternatives on behalf of my wife who has chronic back pain. First the expensive one that was too hard; then back to the old bed for a while; then the nice wooden platform with high legs that made it difficult for her to get in the bed; then the assembly error that caused the wooden platform's slats to displace and then collapse. I have had to assemble and disassemble king sized beds probably five times in the last six months; every time it creates clutter in the bedroom and I can also testify that king sized mattresses are pretty darned heavy. Finally, with this DiaOutro Bed frame, problem solved. The box was smaller and more manageable than usual because the lengthwise frame pieces came in two parts that bolt together rather than one. The metal construction was obviously much stronger than the wood frame of the previous contestant. And crucially there was no ambiguity in how the pieces might fit together. I have had a water bit for most of my life, however, it has become increasingly difficult to find parts for it anymore. I switched to a regular mattress number of years ago however I kept the original particle board base for my waterbed. That base is finally collapsed. I've spent the past 2 months trying to find a new base that would work. I was just about to build one myself when I ran across in this particular one. The size is perfect for my California King waterbed frame. It doesn't sit too high it doesn't sit too low. When I drop in the Box frames the mattress fits right on top. It is strong yet lightweight. Measure your mattress before ordering. Be sure your mattress is at least as large - or a bit larger - than the bed frame... the corners of the metal are sharp and could knock a knee! Assembly is easy but takes some time - the frame arrives in a long skinny box. But it is sturdy.

I bought this as an option for my new medium firm mattress since my previous bed frame requires a box spring. I wanted a low bed because I have a full size and my toddler likes to sleep with me. The 7 inch one is great for us because she can get on and off easily - since I am petite (4’11 100 lbs), I also have no problems with it. It also prevents my dog and toddler from running and hiding under the bed since it is low enough, which is good (unexpected benefit of it) Under the bed, you can fit anything comfortable that is 5 inches or shorter in height. As far as the comfort, the first night felt different because it is lower than my previous bed frame but after that, I felt so much better that the bars actually hold up my medium firm mattress (10 inches) with enough support that our weight is evenly distributed, no mattress sagging! I am happy with this investment - given it costed less than some box springs and includes everything in one: frame and bars. Very easy to move around when putting the mattress sheets on and doing your bed every morning and I wake up feeling comfortable - no stiffness. For Assembly, every part is labeled with a letter. The instructions are diagrams showing you what to do. All tools included - at first you may thing it is too small but that must be eyes playing a trick because it is just the right size for my full size mattress. My dad took about an hour to put things together - with interruptions from my toddler and his movement limitations (he has a bad leg). That being said, as I watched, it appeared to be very simple to put together. I even was able to help him and I am not super skilled at putting things together.
