    • Fun but no replacement parts for rear break. Front power breaks not that safe.

This is a fun scooter but the rear brake which allows kids how fast they low down by stepping on the manual rear break broke in less than a year. The front power brakes have an "all at once effect" like slamming the front brakes on a fast moving 10 speed and throws kids....not safe. And not a big problem IF you could replace the rear brake. I have looked for months on manufacturer and reseller sites and cannot find one anywhere. Net/Net I have a scooter I can't use and is unsafe for anything less than teens. Other manufacturers do have replacement parts easy to find and plentiful. I highly recommend finding another option to this product. I don't usually take time to write reviews, however, i don't want to se other parents with disappointed kids then be faced w buying another scoooter. ... show more

I ordered this item for my daughter for Christmas got it and the screen wouldn’t turn on at all, requested a replacement thinking to give it a try and maybe got a bad one but nope same issue with the second one I know I bought it for about 135 during holiday season and now they are just offering me $83.18 their regular price!! What a way to screw people over!!! DO NOT BUY IT!! ... show more

My granddaughter loves this scooter. Easy to ride etc. Die to a poor design the brake on the rear fender broke off after 3 months of very light use. Contacted Hover and they told me warranty Is no longer in effect as they no longer make this model. I offered to buy the part (. safety item) and was told since they don’t make this model any longer that parts are unavailable! They were unwilling to attempt to cross reference to another model scooter that would work. ... show more

    • Every Kids Dream!
I got an electric scooter for myself several months into Covid and it has been an absolute blast. It has really lifted my spirits at times. I got this so that my 10 year old could ride along with me. It was easy to put together and only took a couple of minutes to get set up. We gave it a full charge and were off to the races. It isn't nearly as fast as mine but it doesn't lag nearly as much as I thought. My son is only marginally good at his standard scooter so I wasn't sure how it would go but he was able to pick it up in no time. He is able to easily cruise at up to 8 mph without losing stability. It takes about 3 hours to charge and gets right around the stated 3 miles which isn't the best but is further than I thought. The nice thing is, if the battery dies, he is able to ride it as a standard scooter without any more difficulty than an actual standard scooter. Overall, this is a great product! ... show more
