Bought this vise to regrip my own golf clubs. It's the perfect tool to mount in a table or counter and clamp your clubs in to regrip them. It's small enough to put away and move around easily. The size also makes it hard to clamp down too tight on your shafts and cause damage.

I really wanted this vise to work. I needed a vise to hold my ring bender. My ring bender fit perfectly but, when I would use it the swivel part of this vise would move. I could not get it to not swivel no matter how hard I tried. Otherwise this vise is really good

The vice does work. It does clamp securely to my work bench. It is solid and heavy. But I have issues with the gaskets included with the vice. They are made of hard plastic and not a softer substance that will grip and hold but not be as forceful as the actual jaw surfaces. Also, the ones for the jaws don't fit. They are too large and keep falling off as you try and close the vice. This makes them impractical in use. I use the vice to hold a lot of more fragile items in place while I work on them and I hesitate to use this given the faults of the gaskets. There are two sets included as if they understand that the first set will likely crack or break when used.
