Perfect for Storage!!

Good box for a hard-to-find size

I bought four of these for storage atop dining room cabinets in a small apartment. They are a nice neutral color, and they are attractive enough to be out in the open. The large-box dimensions are just what I needed to sit atop my cabinets and hold items such as a box of 12 champagne glasses - a hard size to find! But these boxes are too flimsy to protect the glassware if it weren't already in a protective carton. They are basically just the lightweight canvas, with reinforcement from a drop-in bottom piece that is canvas-covered board. I wish that the handle was a different fabric, and a darker color, so that frequent use won't show the inevitable dirt on the handle. The handle looks a bit wrinkled when the box is put together, but it can be ironed... or replaced with a stronger, darker material, if one knows how to sew. (I do.) ... show more

I'm very happy with these boxes: nice-looking; sturdy enough for storing light-to-medium weight clothing; set up in seconds; no noticeable odor, and a good price. The Large size holds five to six winter sweaters. Household Essentials Natural Square Storage Box is attractive fabric over cardboard. The interior is not 15" x 15" but it is the closest in size I could find. I use the box to store large leather bags.

Holds More Than Standard Canvas Bins! Great Buy!

I needed something to put my 5 month olds toys in. We have the Close Maid bins that our eldest daughter used. They are just not big enough even for infant toys. As kids get older, the toys get bigger. I was thrilled when I opened these up. They are just what I needed! I can easily throw my daughter's toys in them at the end of the night is a sleep deprived state. I ordered 2 and plan on getting more for other house hold items. The possibilities are endless! Attractive and well constructed

I'd unearthed a bunch of winter socks from my storage eaves and didn't have anywhere to store them in my bedroom. They'd been sitting in 2 storage bags against the wall as clutter and getting in the way. I searched my local Target and couldn't find anything but the clear plastic storage bins (okay, but I wanted something more attractive, since this would not be hidden in a closet) or some cloth-covered bins with a hideous pattern. Everything else didn't have a lid. I needed a lid, because I was going to place my hamper basket on top of this bin. So I looked on Amazon and found this. I'd hoped for something blue, but no go. And now that I have this natural canvas bin in use, I'm very pleased. The natural white has a quiet elegance and harmonizes well with my pine furniture. I'm very glad I got the jumbo size. Much smaller and all those wooly winter hiking socks (very bulky) would not have fit. The box is very sturdy and is holding up under the weight of my hamper. That said, a regular constructed hamper would probably be too heavy for it. Mine is a simple, relatively reed basket. Heavy enough that I was a little concerned, but not truly heavy. A mesh hamper (very light) would be fine. I suspect the large or medium box could take more weight, since the area of the lid is smaller. ... show more
