this is a really amazing gazebo and as beautiful as advertised. One item to note, when installing, do not follow the instructions for putting on the roof panels. After having all the panels installed, there was no way to screw in the panels from the top as you needed to access the bottom at the same time. We had to remove all of the panels and start over and screw them down one at a time.

The 10 by 15 foot steel roof gazebo is a very big job to assemble. We had three mechanically inclined people with all the right tools and ladders for the job. Our kit was complete and well-packaged. We had very minor damage on only a couple parts - nothing that couldn’t be easily straightened. The legs and roof frame took just over an hour to assemble and went together easily. The roof panels were more challenging and took another seven hours. Here are some tips: Remove the part number stickers from the parts before installing them. Of course this means you will need to label each part some way that is easier to peel off or remove. Blue painters tape and a pen worked ok. Loose assemble the roof frame pieces so you can move them around as you install the roof panels. As you insert each roof panel, poke a Philips screwdriver through a mounting hole to index and hold the panel in place so you can fasten it. Do not final tighten the roof fasteners until all the panels are set and fastened together. Ensure the roof panels are in their tracks top bottom and sides before starting to snug down the fasteners. When you snug down the fasteners DO NOT do it in a line or around a circle. Tighten one in a corner and then move to its counterpart in the opposite corner in a crisscross pattern. Then to the middle of a side and its opposite side. This will take a little longer but you will save time by not having to rework it if you go in a circle. Pay close attention to how the drapes and screens install. They only go in one way. If you can split up the assembly over multiple days, do it. You will be able to come back fresher the second and or third day and things will make more sense when you are rested. I would suggest do the legs and roof frame day one. Do the upper roof panels day two. Do the lower roof panels and drapes and screens day three. Of the three, the lower roof panels are the hardest to get right. Take your time and don’t rush. You will get a great looking product in the end.

GOD FORBID YOU MAKE A MISTAKE AND HAVE TO REDO THE STEP — ONCE THE SCREWS ARE IN, THE HEADS ERODE AND WILL NEVER OPEN AGAIN. CONTACTED AMAZON THRICE FOR THE ISSUE AS I AM NEITHER ABLE TO MOVE AHEAD OR MOVE BACK. THEY ASKED TO CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER BUT NO ONE HAS THE MANUFACTURER DETAILS. THIS ITEM HAS WARRANTY BUT NO WAY TO INVOKE THE WARRANTY. AMAZON SAYS DISASSEMBLE AND PACK THE ITEM FOR A REFUND. IF I COULD DISASSEMBLE WHY WOULD I SEND IT BACK AND NOT REDO THE STEP. THEY BLUNTLY CUT THE CALL AND SAID WE CANNOT ASSIST.

My husband purchased this for our anniversary. I was beyond nervous with the reviews referencing a high level of difficulty in building the structure. It arrived over the course of a few days and came in a total of 7 packages. The plan was that my husband (70 years old) and a couple of our sons would do the construction The WORST part of the entire experience is the fact that the final box showed up late Saturday afternoon on Labor Day weekend. The boys all had holiday weekend plans....and my husband has no patience. Sooooo.... we (my 70 year old husband and me,( his slightly obese wife) and my sister) began construction bright and early Sunday morning. It probably took us a total of 12 hours to construct. The instructions were a little sketchy but my husband is pretty mechanical and is very good at visualizing steps in a process. We had access to a movable platform--a flat bed wagon and used it as our construction platform. This was genius! If we had to move and work from ladders to do the construction, there would not have been another anniversary. Overall the product is as expected for the price. Obviously, we haven't gone through a Wisconsin winter--the product is new and beautiful at this time.

This is an EXCELLENT package. It's the very best kit project I've assembled, because it's blister packed hardware is completely accounted for and identified. All parts identified. Well packaged and protected roof parts, great feature.

It is beautiful. I love it. It is not easy to put together. All the parts were there which surprised me but the directions are not easy you will need 3 people for certain steps. Good quality and sounds great when it rains.
