The leaking sun dried faded 3rd brake light looked horrible. Purchased this light wanting to use leds the bed lights are super bright! I gave the light 4 stars because the light doesn’t have the same curvature as the factory light. The new light leaked so I had to use butal to make a new seal that was thicker and would not leak ... show more

I replaced my factory 3rb brake lamp assembly due to the gasket causing a water leak and it was old and faded. This assembly hasn't leaked (my primary concern) and looks better than my old one for a great price.

This has to be my fourth GM part replaced on an overly priced truck. Yes, the product works as advertised. However, I can't fathom how or why GM has to cut corners on some of their essential trucks. I feel bad for anyone who owns a GM truck from the early 2000s. The gasket is surprisingly thick and lets hope it lasts the weather changes here in Denver.
