Best hair tool I've ever bought- and I've bought MANY. Makes your hair look salon perfect. Love that it has interchangeable heads for different styling. I will say, you can find the same kind of tool quite a bit cheaper if you go to TJ MAXX or Marshall's. However, I dont regret my purchase at all.

My hair is just below my ears and most of the dryer brushes you find have attachments that are much too large for short hair. This one comes with an oval, not round, brush and though it looks large it works so well for my short hair. The company also sells a smaller round brush attachment you can purchase separately-(both the oval and the smaller brush head you can purchase as replacements). Both of the attachments do very well for short hair. Getting ready in the morning now, is quick and easy. Would definitely purchase this product again. ... show more

Ok I Love this dryer/brush. Dries my hair quickly, helps add shine, and wasn’t all that difficult to work with. Not as heavy as the Revlon brand. My hair is fine and to the middle of my back. I bought the smaller head, as I tried my daughters bigger one, and had a hard time doing the top/bangs part of my hair. This size worked much better for me. I did buy the additional bigger size in case I choose to mix things up. The 9’ cord is super handy too. My only complaints, are that I wish it came with hair clips. I used it the first time without clips, and it took just as long to do my hair, as a normal dryer and round brush. But the second time, I sectioned it off like the videos show, and it went way faster. I shaved 20 minutes off my hair time, as I didn’t have to flat iron it after. So that’s a win for me. I also wish it had a cool blast button, that I could just hit it, to set everything. The dial at the bottom, isn’t user friendly when you’re in the middle of doing your hair. You have to stop, look at it, and turn the dial. Not a deal breaker for me, though. ... show more

Calienta demasiado, no tiene una temperatura media por lo tanto es probable que queme fácilmente el cabello, hace un bloque rápido y un acabado bonito. Tengo cabello delgado y me lo deja un poco seco por que calienta mucho, lo recomiendo para pelo grueso y sin procesos químicos.

Solidly built; works great. Given that this type of tool is clunky, I find the Hot Tools easy to hold and manipulate. It is not too heavy. The only feature I don't like is the placement of the heat settings. It is at the base, near the cord. I would prefer the ability to change the setting (from heat to cool, for example) easily, as it would be if placed at the brush end. My hair is chin-length, straight and fine, but it is rather thick. I haven't used this for the 1st blow dry, but have been using it consistently for "2nd day hair". It tames my bedhead quickly, and I get smooth, shiny hair with a bit of volume. Love it. I got my HOT TOOLS Professional Black Gold Detachable One-Step Volumizer and Hair Dryer, 2.4" Small Barrel in this weekend. It is amazing. I had a similar one from Conair 20 years ago and I forgot how much I liked the all in one. The Hot Tools one is a big upgrade from the one I had. I also really notice a difference in volume and smoothness in my hair vs using a blowdryer & round brush. It's powerful and has multiple settings. Beware the high setting gets HOT. I actually ended up turning it down to low. It is a bit heavier than I thought but still lighter than using a regular blow dryer and round brush. It does such a good job that I don't even need to break out my flat iron. FYI my hair is on the shorter side it's a bit longer than chin length bob. I liked this model because it had the smaller barrel & I can purchase the larger barrel when my hair is longer. ... show more

This is the best hot air brush dryer for my straight, long , thick, coarse hair which is hard as heck to curl. The option for a smaller diameter brush gives more control. I prefer the low heat even though it blows less air, as the high heat is REALLY HOT and could damage hair with prolonged use. After towel dry & spritz with heat protectant, it took me less than 10 minutes to style my hair into a silky, shiny, bouncy do. FEATURES I LOVE: 1) Breaks down to 2 pieces--makes it easy to pack. It is a sturdy, solid, twist-click-lock in place. 2) Because it detaches, you can buy replacement brushes if it wears out or swap out a different size brush. AND you can use without brush attachment as a hair dryer! 3) Two different type bristles. Long ones to grab/comb and short ones to smooth. 4) Oval brush shape gives you options how much curl you want at your ends and I feel it helps grip hair. WISH LIST: Wish it had a cool blast button as the temperature control is at the end of the handle. It's not convenient for changing settings but you don't accidently shut it off. Also wish it came with a cover for the brush head to protect the bristle shape in the suitcase. STYLE TIP: Because I have a lot of hair, I blow brush bent over, upside down for lift and then stand upright to finish smoothing my hair and curling the ends. CARE TIP: Run on cool setting before storing so that it is cool to touch--helps bristles from being bent. Remove loose hairs from the brush after each use to avoid a tangled mess. ... show more

After waiting a few weeks for the item to arrive, I received a damaged product. The oval brush that was attached wasn't securely in place. It moved around when it shouldn't and wouldn't lock into place the way it should. I tried using it anyway. It heats up so quickly & overheats so that I burned my hand. It's also very loud. I detached the oval brush head in order to try the smaller attachment. I could not get either attachment back on. When I put it back in the box, I noticed there was a piece broken off the side. I found the piece inside the end of the tool. Someone broke it & returned it. My hair was left flat & doesn't have any volume. I'm returning it. I have a John Freida tool that's similar, costs around $20, and lasts for years. I was only trying something new because I wanted something I could use on wet hair. ... show more
