  • Excellent Filament
Color: 1kg Black Size: 1KG
I am extremely impressed with the DURAMIC 3D PLA+ Filament 1.75mm 1Kg Black! This filament delivers exceptional print quality, with smooth and consistent extrusion from start to finish. It has excellent adhesion to the print bed and produces crisp, sharp details on every print. The black color is rich and solid, making it perfect for a wide range of projects. I've used several different filaments over the years, but DURAMIC PLA+ stands out in terms of durability and ease of use. The filament is not brittle and can handle intricate details without breaking or warping. It also works seamlessly with my 3D printer, maintaining a steady flow without tangling or clogging. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a professional, I highly recommend this filament for anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality PLA+. It offers fantastic value for the price and ensures that your prints come out looking polished and professional. I’ll definitely be purchasing this again! ... show more

  • Prints beautifully, Glows great.
Color: Glow Blue Size: 1KG
Prints amazing, even at faster than listed speeds. Exceptional glow from 10 seconds of UV light. Spooling is decent, no issues, didn't need to dry before use and even has a resealable bag. Sadly mine was damaged in transit, but didn't cause any issues. Love the color in daylight.

  • Performance and Quality for a Fair
Color: 1kg Black Size: 1KG
Like most people, I had NEVER heard of Duramic before saying, "Screw it, I'm just drunk enough to give it a shot!" Oh boy am I glad I did! In what was potentially my first wise inebriated decision, I found a perfect balance point between quality and value for a superb filament! Aside from the obvious high accuracy and being American made, the packaging is right on point and is definitely secure. I know this because the Amazon delivery driver decided to hurl this box of filament (and AMZ didnt put it in a brown Amazon either) down my driveway and I was SURE it was broken. However, not a scratch inside... even though AMZ is lazy, Duramic did me right. Where this filament really shines for me was in layer adhesion. OH MY BOB DID MY PRINTS LAY DOWN FLATTTTT! Not even an exaggeration, look at the pics for yourself. Laid down flat. As. Glass. Silky. Smooth. (Periods added to simulated excited emphasis clapping) Like most people, I found my temp settings to be 50 at the hotbed, and 205 for the first roll, 210 for the second, but it's pretty consistent versus my experience with others where I'm literally just power spinning the temp knob going "God I hope this works!" The one thing I noticed was it can be quite picky on the nozzle temp and will begin to ooze if not set right (duh, right?) Big thing with this PLA, it REALLY likes being printed on the slower side. I've been able to pull off 60, but I've found 40-50 for my print speed to be the happy medium between speed and quality (I'm completely quality focused over speed). Literal ONLY gripe I have is with the fact that at writing, theres no options for my to buy the white and grey PLA+ rolls. I can only buy them as a 3 pack. I've managed to pop a number of detailed pieces out with this PLA+ and look forward to getting more reels, as well as trying their ABS hopefully soon. ... show more

  • Great quality for the price, stronger than expected.
Color: White Size: 1KG
This is my favorite filament I've tried so far. I've tried quite a few. I have an ender 3 with a direct drive kit. This stuff is amazing and even does great outdoors, especially the white color. I have prints that have been outside for over a year with this filament and haven't had any issues. I will say it prints better at around 220C. I actually like that it prints at a higher temperature, it seems to withstand heat and UV better than any other PLA+ I've tried. I get really clean prints with it and I can't really fault it. the only issue I had was at first I had some clogging issues. These issues were solved with printing at a higher temperature. I'm dragging my feet on recommending it because I'm afraid the price will go up and there will be less available. Really great in terms of strength. I have one print in particular holding an Ice auger in my garage that's been there for about a year and a half. The auger isn't light either. According to the amazon listing it weighs 32 lbs. it's about a $500 auger and I trust this filament to hold it up on the wall. I really can't say enough about how good this stuff has been for me. It performs better than you would expect from PLA+. I'd really like to see it tested against other brands and other types like PETG and Nylon. You're probably thinking I work for the company or I get free stuff. I'm not but I certainly wouldn't say no (clears throat loudly). Bottom line is: It's my favorite PLA+ filament and a great quality product. This is my go to filament and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. I'd guess I've used around 10 KG of this and will order more in the future. The only time I get anything else is on Black Friday I seem to be able to find bulk pricing for an insanely good price. But I'm regretting not spending the money on this instead. ... show more

  • ...Interesting Filament
Color: 1kg Black Size: 1KG
I don't normally leave reviews, but feel like my review might help people who are struggling with this filament. I have printed with many different kinds of black filament (pla, pla+, pla pro, petg) from several different brands. I had never had an issue with easily dialing in print settings on my P1S...until this filament. In well over 1000 hours on my P1S I hadn't had bed adhesion issues...until this filament. I was ready to give up and just toss the the roll until I just sort of found how to print this. First, this filament likes to be printed hot. I normally run pla at 215 or 220 but I print this filament at 230! Whole this ultimately causes some other potential issues, it's crucial for getting good layer adhesion and nice looking walls. Bed temp? Up it and probably up it some more. At least 5-7 degrees hotter than a normal pla setting of about 60. That is unless you like spaghetti. Speaking of spaghetti, enable retraction and zhop. The higher temp needed means you are likely to get some oozing. I finally noticed my later adhesion issues were the nozzle ripping the part off the bed. After enabling zhop and setting a longer retraction all that went away. Cooling! This needs more than adequate cooling especially because it needs to be printed hot. Do not print in an enclosure without the door open/lid off. This will also help with overhangs and supports. Slow it down. I set volumetric speed to 8 mm/s^3. Obviously way lower than other plas. Tolerances. Tolerances can be an issue with this filament. I had to up my clearance values for parts that for inside of each other due to the hotter temps probably leading to differential cooling. Just something to be aware of. For instance I have usually always been able to fit things easily with 0.15 mm clearance. In this case I had to up it to 0.22 to get parts that could be slid into one another without getting stuck. So it you have some of this, do not fret and try a few changes that may make your life easier. In my opinion, the slower printing time is worth it because the final outcome looks better than other comparable black filaments. Plus the strength at this temp is crazy. ... show more

  • Great Filament!
I use a lot a filament in my printers. This stuff has been great. I love the marble "color" and it makes beautiful prints. Definitely try marble. It makes awesome little statues. I recommend Duramic PLA+.

  • Great high strength filament for the price
Color: Light Yellow Size: 1KG
Ive bought duramic pla+ many times in the past and have great print results with it. They put out one of the most consistent lines of filament and I don't have to change my print settings too often. The flow rate is often very close kilogram to kilogram. The colors are what you would expect, slightly glossy and vibrant. I use a lot of black and white for everyday prototypes but have used most of their colors at this point. Bone white and marble being my favorites. The marble is great as is for statues. The bone white is a great Tanisha color and looked great printing a T-Rex fossils. Their strength seems to line up with what they describe in their product description and is one of my main reasons for being a return customer. Some manufacturers " pla plus" is often just pla rebranded as high strength but duramic prints are very durable. I can often get away with using less walls and lower infill to get the same results as other brands. Their claim of 98% +/- .02mm is realistic as with a fresh roll I don't have any over/under extrusion issues. I have had a couple rolls that weren't properly dried or maybe were old stock but their customer service agent Tina has quickly taken care of me every time. So If you're looking for a high quality tough filament look no further, duramic pla plus has you covered. They also have deals pretty regularly if you want to try them for the first time. ... show more

  • Decent filament
Color: Glow Green Size: 1KG
Prints well but not for every printer. My solvol 7 machine refuses to load this filament. It does load and run well in my Enders 3 and 5 pro, Elegoo Neptune, and Prusa i3. I highly suggest you run this through a hardened nozzle. In my experience it chews up brass nozzles pretty quick. Results on quality of print vary depending on your printer and slicer settings but it does pretty well in the above mentioned machines. All my machines are or have been converted to direct drive so I cannot say how well this runs through a standard bowden. Great results at 210 nozzle, 60 bed, 80 to 100mm speed. It does seem like a slow print speed but me Enders don't print anything well over 100mm speed and this material is rated for that anyway. Glow in the dark quality is pretty good and it charges better and stays glowing much longer when exposed to UV light. Works fine with natural or artificial light but it does not glow quite as bright or as long when exposed to other light sources. The material is spooled very well on a cardboard spool and rolls off smooth and even. ... show more
