I have strong feelings about a company sending you a coffee maker that is totally unsafe to use and when asked about it, they told me sorry it did not meet my expectations and this was just the way it worked. It is not the way any coffee maker works that is safe to use. Coffee spits out all over my counter. I have since seen another review stating the same thing. My cup is a 20 oz cup, I put it on 12 oz of coffee so plenty of room inside the cup. It has to be coming from where the coffee comes out. It does not come out in a continuous stream but starts and stops. It spit out 9 to 9 1/2 inches from the maker. Mine is sitting as far back on the counter as it can and if a toddler put their little hand on the edge of the counter, it could burn their hand when it spits out. I have had mine burned by it. Not a very good company if they offer no concern for a customers safety. To say they are "sorry it does not meet my expectations" is callus to say the least. Of course, I have every right to expect I am getting a safe product when I purchase. It seems to be a given rather than an expectation to want something safe to use.

This coffee maker came today. I have had all of the Kurig coffee makers and they were good until I wore them out. After the last we purchased a regular drip coffee maker that had an attached container with frother. It worked well until we got into the spring and summer season and nats are the thing here in the country when it is warm. That coffee maker left the tank exposed through cracks between the lid so nats made it a regular area to visit. I researched a new coffee maker and really liked the bold feature and the small foot print. Let me tell you after doing the setup and start up it makes a great cup of coffee! It tastes so close to a coffee shop cup of special coffee! It is really a good hot temperature so it stays very hot to warm in our thermal mugs because it it hot to start with. It is very easy to use and is not loud and makes a full 12 oz reasonably quick. Regular coffee not bold is even quicker. It has a nice touch of being able to make coffee over ice and can make 8 ounces all the way up to 24 ounces! It is very good value for your money and even has a one year warranty and comes with a quick start guide and recipe book for excellent coffee. I highly recommend this coffee maker!!

This is the second of these I have purchased. Good value for the features. PLUS- I received a message from the seller shortly after purchase inviting me to contact them if I had any problems. I like the fairly large water reservoir and the cup size selections. most importantly, I like the taste of the coffee from it. MINUS- As others have complained, this one leaked intermittently. It was easily fixed by removing the bottom cover and tightening the plastic ties that secure the water lines. you can tell which ones need tightened by gently pushing on the tie. if it rotates easily, it's too loose. It's easier to fix it than return it if you have the problem with yours. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I really like the coffee maker, The quality control could be better.

I like the size of the water tank. 40oz is just right. Also love the number of options for ounces to brew. Small profile fits beautifully on my coffee bar. Brews quicker then my keurig did. Makes a little noise but very briefly. Only drawback is that if your cup is smaller it spits a little water on the counter. No problem though. Just a quick wipe up. This is my favorite of the brewers I've had. Didn't know if I would like it due to the low price. Very pleasantly surprised!

EDITED this adding a star and why---new info at the bottom-- Like a few others have written--My first few weeks with the brewer were great ! I (luckily I guess) did NOT have a plastic taste-- the size is great- a removable reservoir --and i WAS able to change volumes as designed. BUT- the last few days it has been producing only half a cup (from a full reservoir) I have not tried cleaning/descaling (and from other reviews, seems that doesn't work anyway) My solution has just been to turn it off and run it again--through the same pod--while standing by with another cup to swap if it were to "overproduce"--but it hasn't. It does splatter a bit--not grievously-and quick dabbing with a damp paper towel has taken care of the remnants. From looking at the ratio of reviews--it seems it falls into the typical standard of corporate poor quality control to keep profits high OK--so I decided to try some different approaches to make it usable-since i had thrown the box away. I'll just let you know the one that worked easily and skip the more complicated ones. I reverted to the included filter and used grounds.--coffee volume was as selected--I tried 24 and 12 so far--be careful as the amount it made was exact--and if you have a 12 oz cup--it's filled to the brim!. Yes still only three stars--because the big allure is the simplicity, quickness and clean use of a kCup.

It’s so compact and easy to use and understand. Great functionality, attractive. It brews quickly. We need to fill the reservoir daily but it’s easy to do. Great value for the money. Prefer it to our last Keurig.
