It took me 10 min (I tracked the time) to finish blow drying. I sectioned my hair and started at the roots, gently brushing it through. This dryer left my hair soft, shiny, and very polished. I actually enjoyed drying my hair when before it was a dreaded chore with blow dry, straightener, then curling my ends with a curling iron - taking about 30 min it seemed like. This really eliminates the need for a straighter and curling iron for my ends. Now I have salon quality blow out in 10 min. My hands or arms don’t feel tired either. It was like a magic wand. We got this for me and my daughter to use. It works better on my hair because mine is longer and I know what I'm doing. It seemed big and clunky to use but it is worth it. I would usually air dry my hair overnight and then flat iron in the morning because no way do I have enough time to blow dry with a round brush. Now I still air dry overnight but I use this to style in the morning and my hair is silky smooth and has volume with just a hint of a curl at the ends when I use it. I LOVE it not fried straight anymore! As I said I got the thicker barrel so my daughter with shoulder length hair it's a little too chunky for her but she still tries to use, but the thinner barrel would be better. Update: Add a pro for great customer service! Thank you to the seller for reaching out. Pros: It is super cute and it is lightweight. It also stays cool at the tip, as to not burn your fingers, even after several minutes. Cons: The boar bristles are just NOT it. They are barely noticeable and does not glide easily through my hair as well as my Hot Tools Volumizing Brush. It tugged and pulled more than I wanted. I am sad to say I will be going back to Hot Tools. It is SO cute, I wanted to to work so badly! The point of owning this product is ease of use. I love this thing! I had a revlon one before but it was so big it really didn’t make my hair curl and it would just end up straight. This device does curl my hair and makes it so smooth.
