If you need more cabinet space but do not want to pay the ridiculous "Big Box Store" prices, this is the cabinet for you. The cabinet will arrive in two boxes. Each box is loaded with Styrofoam blocks and thinner sheeting. One of my boxes arrived torn but the internal packing prevented any damage. An inventory sheet is included in each box. The instructions are clearly printed and easy to follow. The cabinet is made out of particle board, medium density fiberboard (MDF) with metal hinges and knobs. This kit contains A LOT of screws! A battery powered Screwdriver could aid in the construction but definitely do not use a power driver or drill. Putting this together by myself, it took me about five hours to build. I could have been faster, but I chose to go slow so as not to damage or scuff the white finish. The doors and drawer function well. The European hinges were a challenge to adjust; thankfully step-by-step instructions are included for those who have never messed with this type of hinge. Once finished, the cabinet looks great and is surprisingly stable. Once all the pieces are connected together there is no wobble in the cabinet. Glue could be used for an even firmer joint if desired. I don't have children or cats, so I did not use the included wall anchors. The instructions have the builder using plastic anchors to secure the cabinet but, anchoring to a stud will provide greater piece of mind. If my Wife decides she needs more cabinets, and she will, I will most likely be buying this one again. ... show more

I chose this cabinet and a coordinating one to cover a wall and add more storage space for my kitchen/pantry. I can’t rave enough about how these two units surprised me. I was able to spend under $600 for an entire wall unit that adds great personality to the room versus the almost 3k bid an actual cabinet place gave me just for a 7-8 ft wall space. The assembly is no joke by any means and took hours BUT it was so worth it!!! I was nervous due to reading it was frustrating but 1. I don’t know what other buyers expected when you purchase such a detailed piece of furniture over the internet, 2. Learn how to read and you’ll be fine lol. The instructions get the job done. Between the two units, I was missing only one screw for a drawer knob. That’s a WIN! The drawers included are great. I’m going to add the soft close dots to prevent them from hitting wood to wood. But they’re a GREAT size. The soft close hinges work fantastically on the doors. And the overall quality/sturdiness shocked me in the best way. This and the second unit, from the same brand, are excellent quality for the price paid. I would buy these over and again. ... show more

This was pretty easy to put together and looks nice. The wooden dowels that come with it are way too small for the holes they go in, so they do nothing to add to stability. You will definitely want to attach this to a wall to stabilize it. I was short 1 knob for the doors, but customer service was really helpful and ended up sending me 2 of them. Great upgrade from our previous pantry cabinet so we now have much more storage space in this pantry. Assembly takes some time, and I'd recommend having 2 people since some sections are larger and you have to turn large pieces over during assembly. 2 packages arrived holding all of the parts- both arrived at the same time so there was no delay between receiving one package and the next. We needed storage in our back room for pet food and canning jars and equipment. Our open shelves always looked cluttered. This unit is awesome. Everything fit. Even the bread maker and small snocone machine fit. I love how tidy things look now. Be prepared to take a few hours to assemble. My husband said that the instructions were clear but had a lot of steps. It assembled much like IKEA furniture. The unit is very sturdy and nice. I feel like I spent more time assembling this than everything else I've assembled in my life. It's just time consuming, not hard. The instructions are flawless and clear. The craftsmanship is superb. The final product is excellent. So assembly is difficult, but fair. I can't exaggerate how many individual pieces you will work with, how much packing material there is, and how long this takes. This is far more "I'll assemble it this weekend" and not "oh I'll do that this evening!" If I had to guess it was five hours of non stop drilling in screws, finding pieces and slotting them together. But it was oddly satisfying. Think of it like a five hour long "paint by numbers"... The task isn't challenging but the time and tediousness is. Oh and the door adjustment instructions and mechanism were excellent. ... show more

Love this cabinet! I’m using it as a pantry cabinet in my dining/kitchen area. I ordered the green and I assembled it alone. It took about 6 hours total but I was taking my time. A cordless screwdriver will be your best friend. The package was in two parts and very heavy. I opened it outside in my driveway and brought the pieces in separately because I couldn’t lift the largest box alone and go up 5 stairs with it. It is very well packaged and there was no damage to any pieces. Immediately loved the color. After assembling it felt very sturdy. Give it a chance as it will feel a bit flimsy during parts of the assembly. If you have someone to help you, all the better. I did not attach it to the wall because I live alone with no children visiting. I’m also careful to put heavier items on the bottom, always. Once it was fully assembled I decided to “elevate” the look a bit by adding wallpaper in the door panels and some more substantial knobs. It sits in my dining room so I wanted it to blend a bit more with my wood furniture. It was fine as it was but I like the way it turned out. Keeping in mind that at this price point it is not heirloom quality, but highly functional. I use it daily, several times, and it’s holding up nicely to all the weight and constant use.
