Have only had the device for approximately 1 week but so far it seems very solid and sturdy when pulling hose out or reeling the hose in . The hose did get hung up once inside the box but was easy enough to undo. I like the color and the the fact that it does not leak at all at the fittings. The interior is mostly metal and well made. I think it is a good buy for the money and should last several years.

I bought this to replace one similar to it that was a different brand.The old one sit flat on the ground and even though it was on concrete it rusted out on the inside after 3years.This one has an air space from the ground that should not rust as quick.Seem better quality to.

I really like this enclosed hose real. It’s strong, sturdy, durable, lightweight with no assembly required. Once the hose is connected it’s smooth sailing. There’s no need to mount to anything, it’s free standing. The process of taking and retrieving the hose is smooth and effortless. Goes well with my outdoor decor.
