Had to flush engine cooling system after A/T cooler failure in radiator contaminated engine with ATF. After replacing the radiator, this kit allowed the oil in the engine block to collect in the funnel, where I could skim it off. After repeated fills of water with about 24oz of organic degreaser concentrate, running the engine up to operating temp and draining, engine is as clean as I can get it. The funnel fit well and received several "years" of normal use over the course of a few days. It is still like new. Highly recommended!

I work as a technician for toyota and we do coolant drain and fill/bleeds all the time. I’ve been getting tired of the plastic pole you shove the the opening of the funnel to block the coolant from flowing because it gets stuck and makes a decent mess when trying to remove it. From what I can tell there’s only one other coolant fill funnel with a valve from cta but it doesn’t come with all the fittings I needed and was about 70$ with only 4 fittings. For 20$ the build quality is really good and the valve moves freely and seems very quality. Time will tell how long this will last but if it lasts more than a year or so than it’s definitely on my recommended list.

Worked well, but will definitely leak at the connection point if you apply any side pressure to the funnel. Not a big deal at all, but works great overall 👍🏻

I have looked at these for awhile and put off buying one. Now that I found this one with the shut off valve I had to try it. I’ve now bled the coolant in two vehicles after making repairs and topping off the coolant in each system. I will NEVER go back. It. Is the right tool for the job and keeps it all clean no mess. Just buy it you’ll thank me the first time you use it.

This coolant funnel kit met my expectations and worked as indicated. I was worried about some of the comments about leaking - I would suggest the following before to pour any coolant into the funnel assembly (1) this is critical - make sure the pieces you choose for your radiator are secure. When you place the assembly system to your radiator test the connector piece that goes to the radiator to make sure it is secure and not wobbling. My first selection of parts wobbled so I tried a wider radiator connector and when secured to the radiator it did not wobble (2) after connection to the radiator, I connected the funnel piece and had the stopcock closed. I poured about 0.25 L deionized water into the funnel then opened the stopcock -I did not have any leaking. Once I confirmed no leaking I added 0.5 L deionized water into the funnel followed by 0.5 L coolant. I kept refilling the funnel 1:1 until full.

It's ok. Just ok, but I do think it is worth the money for people who need to burp their coolant system after repairs. The fitment is a bit wobbly and doesn't feel very secured on a 2009 yukon xl. Idk about any of the other assortments of parts included but they seem like they will be ok. Either way it got the job done. So I can't say it's bad at all. Just thinking it could be a little less wobbly. Instructions are pure garbage though if you're confused about how to use all the pieces.
