This Hoover hive showed up in perfect condition! I have installed 5 frames of bees in and within three weeks putting on another box! The bees love their new home! I also want to say the bee suite that came with package is absolutely awesome! I got it for my husband and he is a size L/XL but the suits a XXL and glad because otherwise would be a bit snug for bee business. Go a bit bigger and you will be happy. Great quality! Would definitely purchase again.

I ordered this to get started in bee keeping. The kit is wonderful and fully loaded,the box is great woodworking. Unfortunately, I had to return it do to the fact that the jacket was too small. It is an xxl but I am 235lbs, 6'3"..anyone smaller it will fit fine!! Will definitely use this seller again.

I own a few different brands of wax coated Bee Hives. But, so far my experience has been Hoover Hives hands down has the nicest, thickest coating of wax. This kit came preassembled and was pretty much ready to go with everything you need to get a start besides the bees themselves. Once the bees start building in this hive, it will need to be expanded with more supers and/or deep boxes. But, overall a very nice starting point with this kit.

The Suite head gear was NOT attached, so was zipping it on the jacket and 1 zipper just came off! I tried to make 1 zipper work but it does not hold the zip and gap appear, a bee got into the head area! Nice bee did not sting me, but my buddy said his head gear came already attached, mine was not. The box and the rest of the kit was great, nice construction on the box and parts. Suite seems fine other than the zippers, AS easy as it came off, I can't get it to go back on!

This is a high quality hive covered in soooo much wax for protection, it is amazing how much wax is soaked into this hive , it is taking the weather very well! I would definitely buy again and the smoker that came with the kit and other tools and jacket and gloves are very good quality, superior to what I was expecting for $150 you just need 5 frames and 5 frames with a Queen and a honey super and you are set
