The look is balanced by neutral woven tufted upholstery in a flax color in a Linen-Cotton blend. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture. This is by far the best shopping experience , I had .I will forever be a loyal customer and try to get all my furniture from this company ( Emma Mason ) .They were prompt ,patience and understanding. I was juggling the headboard and the whole bed and they just help make my experience easier and swift. Bed arrived Tuesday March 15 because of their dedication and loyalty to me as their customer instead of April 22 2016 . The bed was installed and all the debris was removed and it was in A+ condition. The guys were the best , they even helped me move an old dresser out of my room. Had this bed frame for over two months now. Very upscale and beautiful. Fits my cal king mattress perfectly. Great value for the price. Other similarly priced bedframes are not nearly as elegant. The headboard is a beige cloth material slightly darker than the picture and it's surrounded by bronze tarnished mirrors and accents. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

This is a fantastic bed to experience in person! I did not like the feet height or their finish, so designed some "bombay style" legs and fabricated them out of Burmese teak (with only oil based Thompson's water seal on them - wait 3 days to dry before installing on the fabric). The hardware was missing, and in lieu of waiting for the hardware shipment, we fabricated the special length all-thread bolts - do not attempt to use anything less than or more than 4" long all-thread bolts. Unless you are an expert at cutting all-thread, recommend waiting for the manufacturer's hardware. We used 4" long carriage bolts and cut off the heads, rethreading the cut end with a disposable nut. Also, when assembling those bolts, may need to lean the foot frame to left or right to give more room for the washers. We used an 18" mirror cleat to attach headboard to the wall, mounted on the center wooden vertical support of headboard on back. Needed a 1/4" high shim on headboard to do that. But, it worked well, and the bed itself is sturdy and well-made which helps a lot in assembly. There are adjustable feet on structural legs in center of cross-bracing (rails), but in the queen-size we did not use them at all. If combined weight on bed is over 400lbs, recommend using them. All feet are adjustable with simple screwdriver +/- 1/4". Holds a standard size queen boxspring. This bed was assembled by a house mechanic and a mechanical engineer. We approve of this bed and its structural design. ... show more

Omg I love this bed! Always getting compliments on it and it's so sturdy and strong. I love love the look ! This a great piece of furniture one if my favorites yet. Easy to assemble , but heavy dudy so definetly need someone to help. I'm very happy with this purchase.
