I was worry of ordering this due to others stating how hard it was to put together. Also the photos don't do this justice, the wire looked cheap when it's actually a good quality. Like others noted, some holes don't match up. Mostly the smaller screws you start with. No biggie, I just tapped a nail to make a hole and the screw went right in. If you follow the instructions stating to not tighten all the bolts right away it adjusts fine. I did find it easier to lay it on the side to put front panel on. The back was a bit more challenging as it was the last piece. It appeared the screw hole didn't line up but if you start with the ones that do and give a bit of a push it goes together fine. I placed it against the wall as I didn't have any help to push the ends together to match the holes. The door latches ARE troublesome. I found that instead of grabbing the outer handle part you move your hand down lower almost grabbing the slide bar and it closes and opens fine. I'm assuming it will wear in with time. Perfect for our little Pom who has frequent accidents, plenty of room to put her bed and a pee pad. So much nicer to look at than a traditional kennel.

The instructions or lack of is one issue, but add to it several holes not being drilled and it took about an hour longer than needed. Looks good when finally done and the dog is happy with it, and that's all that counts. One metal piece wasn't drilled all the way through in two locations. Almost all of the smaller screw starter holes were missing. Four out of 10 larger self-tapping screws didn't connect to anything, so we have holes in the front. They do connect in the back. Still very sturdy, but strange. Overall, we're satisfied with it. Took about 2-1/4 hours to assemble but realistically could be done in 1-1/2 hours had we known what we know now.

I love this crate. It looks great and sturdy. I bought a little water bowl for the side wall. I put a little round bed in it on top of the plastic tray. I can use the top just like a night stand. We have a schnauzer 20 lbs . This crate fits my dog perfect. It was ok to assemble just follow the picture directions. I recommend this purchase.

The instructions suck so I had to reassemble some parts once I got most of it together. The doors don't open as wide as you'd expect them to. We got a large size and you would expect it to be taller so the dog could actually sit.

Besides the holes not aligning perfectly, it wasn’t too difficult to put together. I just had to rotate some of the frames as I was screwing in the pieces to help displace the weight (if that makes sense). It’s very sturdy. Our weenie mix is about 22lbs and he seems to like it better than his much larger crate. Our other one next to him is 11lbs for reference. I purchased the medium size.
