This thermostat originally had issues when it first came out but Honeywell made great software updates since then and it is rock solid. now. Very easy to use, compatible with a lot of systems and has great connectivity features. Installed super easy too!

Bought two, very happy with them and all the features. I like that you can integrate it with ring door cam, however I am not a fan of ring due to needless monthly subscriptions. Wish it worked with eufy door cam instead

Installation was surprisingly straightforward. The wiring terminals are clearly labeled, the app setup is smooth, and the system auto-detection gets you most of the way there without much effort. Once configured correctly, the smart features are excellent. Remote control works reliably, scheduling is flexible, and the interface is clean and responsive. Performance has been solid. Heating and cooling respond quickly, and the thermostat integrates well with a multi-stage system without any ongoing tweaking. Only hiccup I ran into was, well… me. Turns out if you wire it like a conventional system when you actually have a heat pump, it will enthusiastically do exactly the wrong thing. Not a product flaw, just a reminder that user error is undefeated. Once set up properly, it works exactly as expected. Great product. ... show more

This company literally laughed at me when I attempted to obtain tech support on how the product was not operating as advertised on the Apple Home App. The person on the phone dismissed my concerns and blamed it on Apple. The call literally took less than a minute for the tech person to tell me to him in the lake. I called Apple sho spent an hour with me as we went through all the troubleshooting steps to reveal this was indeed a bug with the thermostat. I boxed the thermostat up and returned it. I will NEVER buy another Honeywell product ever again. This serves as an example of how important the people you decide to have interact with the public. If Honeywell corporate is reading this review, don’t take my word for it. Go listen to the tape of my call with your tech person. I will never have one of your products in my house ever again.
