I've been loving these sensors in our house to watch temperatures. Helps prevent cold spots on lower floors. Would love to be able to eventually tie it into a damper system as well to better control which areas of the house it will reach variably.

The Honeywell Smart Room Sensor was easy to install on the T9 Thermostat. The onscreen instructions were clear and easy to follow. Initially the Remote Sensor temperature was high by 10 degrees and it had to sit overnight to eventually resolve to the correct temperature. The unit is small and easily taped to the wall. It has a motion sensor built in that can be used to sense if people are in the room and then automatically use that sensor to control the on/off for the HVAC. The webpage states the batteries should last one year but there are several reports in the reviews of very short lifetime. I have only had it for a few days but will update this review should the batteries need to be replaced prematurely. ... show more

I was kinda on the fence with adding these, but after using them for a while I’m glad I did. They do help with managing comfort in different rooms. I focus on the lower level during the day and the upper level at night. I will probably add a third one in the basement. Btw, they are more expensive buying the two pack. Buy them separately. Only one worked out of the box. If it doesn’t connect at first, don’t wait to return it thinking you will figure it out later. You won’t. It either works right out of the gate or it doesn’t. Love the system, sensors work great for managing temps across the house. Will be replacing these from somewhere local so I don’t have to deal with returning broke ones again. ... show more

Easy enough to setup and sync to the residio app. Though I'm not sure how accurate the temp readings are. I have them in my children's room and the temp in the app, is different than the baby monitors in the same room. By about 4-5 degrees. Ordered a two pack but setup the same. One sensor the batteries last 2 days and are done. Other sensor is great. Both have the same settings and I added extra. So I have 3 total but one is not lasting

I bought these sensors with a Honeywell wifi thermostat and my new furnace/AC. I bought an old house w very uneven heating/cooling. The thermostat w the sensors really helped! I can make the thermostat or one of the 2 sensors primary. This really improved the bad cooling/heating upstairs (I assigned the upstairs sensor as primary). *The other thing that helped a LOT was setting the thermostat to heat/cool (vs just cool). This really evened temperatures out throughout the house. When i.had just the cooling on, it cooled below the set temp goal. ... show more

I know these say Honeywell, but their thermostat division is now run by Residio. The sensors appear to work and the indicated temp and humidity seem to be within tolerance. I would have enjoyed something more precise but they get the job done. Tech support is challenging, but luckily I didn't need much for the sensors. I paired these with the T9 thermostat and monitor three different living spaces now (four if you count the T9). The t9 itself has worked pretty well for me, with the exception of compatibility with some mesh WIFI networks. Otherwise, I'm fairly satisfied with the Honeywell/Resideo thermostat. ... show more
